Natasha Lyonne shares emotional update nearly three months after relapsing
Orange Is the New Black star Natasha Lyonne has candidly shared an emotional update nearly three months after relapsing.
Earlier this year, in January, the 46-year-old actress and director revealed she had relapsed after almost 10 years of sobriety.
And now, in her latest health update to fans, Lyonne took to X on Thursday (19 March) to share that she's done 'a whole lot better'.
"Proud to report this kid is doing a whole lot better & back on her feet," she wrote. "Want to thank our recovery communities & the fans who stood by & were so supportive."

Lyonne explained that she was 'aiming to keep the journey somehow private', adding: "But look forward to sharing my experience, strength & hope as makes sense."
She rounded off the statement, concluding: "My heart is with everyone ever going through it."
Fans were quick to rush in to share their words of support for the Poker Face star, who struggled with addiction to drugs and alcohol throughout the 2000s, per Variety, with one X user writing: "Sending you so much love."
"I’m so proud of you Tasha. Keep fighting, we love you," penned a second as a third chimed in: "Peace and blessings always, Natasha."
A fourth congratulated: "There's a reason that we call it recovery. It's because we continue to do it for the rest of our lives, and sometimes we relapse a bit because that's the nature of diseases, especially lifelong diseases. Congratulations on coming through to the light side again."
"Wishing you continued health and happiness!" echoed another.
And a final fan added: "This makes me so happy to see. Forever proud of you and forever grateful for your honesty and transparency. Love you always."
In a series of since-deleted tweets posted to X on 23rd January, Lyonne wrote: "Took my relapse public more to come.
"Recovery is a lifelong process. Anyone out there struggling, remember you’re not alone," Lyonne added.
"Grateful for love & smart feet. Gonna do it for baby Bambo. Stay honest, folks. Sick as our secrets. If no one told ya today, I love you. No matter how far down the scales we have gone, we will see how our experience may help another. Keep going, kiddos. Don’t quit before the miracle. Wallpaper your mind with love. Rest is all noise & baloney."
Lyonne has a few feature projects underway. She’s set to write and direct the indie film Bambo, centred on a New York boxing promoter.
She had also been lined up to make her directing debut with Uncanny Valley, backed by her AI-focused studio Asteria Film Co.
