Molly-Mae Hague has just celebrated little Bambi's very first birthday and took to Instagram to share a series of snaps from the milestone occasion.

While many fans and fellow celebs were beyond obsessed with the adorable photo dump - it seems others weren't too impressed.

Fans have since rushed in to defend Molly-Mae and call out all the people taking issues with the one-year-old's birthday bash.

Yesterday (23 January), the 24-year-old ex-islander shared 10 pictures from the celebration also featuring her fiancé Tommy Fury to her 7.9 million followers on Instagram showing a neutral-theme to the party decor.

This included matching white outfits, white and transparent balloons, white sweet treats and other yummy bits, white flowers and a multi-coloured birthday cake.

Molly-Mae captioned the post: "My one-year-old. Happy first Birthday to my little girl… I love you more every single day. You’re so beyond special Bambi... I’m so proud to call you my daughter."

While many absolutely loved the pics, others seemed to take major issue with the minimalist colour palette.

"A bit of colour in her life wouldn’t go amiss, babies and children need colour for so many reasons," hit out one Instagram user.

A second slammed: "I'm sure your little girl loved all the neutral decor. Bit selfish. Little girls love sparkles and pink and everything princess."

"Want to see colour," insisted a third. "Gorgeous though."

Some people took issue with the neutral theme.

Another asked: "Why’s everything so boring tho? White, white, pristine white.. where’s the colour? Especially for a baby it doesn’t look like a birthday!"

Fans were quick to hit back against the comments, with one writing: "Not all little girls like pink and sparkles. What a ridiculous comment!"

"What the actual f*ck, what kind of comment is this?" added a second. "Stop bothering her, she's doing a bloody fine job!"

"It’s a theme Christ!" highlighted a third, while another pointed out: "The fourth and last slide literally have a coloured cake. Y’all didn’t see it?"

Fans rushed to defend the mum-of-one.

A fifth added: "I'm sure she has colour in her life!"

"Hating on a one-year-old's birthday please grow up," advised someone else, while another commented: "How about leaving birthday wishes to Bambi? This is a happy post, and your objection to her scheme is totally unwarranted. Her baby, her choice!"

A final Instagram user echoed: "Can't stand these back-handed passive-aggressive compliments 'bit selfish, but cute cake' - honestly get a grip its a one-year-old's birthday for one day."
