'Real reason' why Molly-Mae doesn't wear her engagement ring explained

Fans think they've cracked the mystery

Fans think they've finally cracked the mystery as to why Molly-Mae hasn't been seen wearing her engagement ring.

There's been a whole bunch of speculation in the last few weeks since the Love Island star first started being frequently spotted on numerous occasions without the ring, with many questioning the status of her and Tommy Fury's relationship.

The rumour mill went into overdrive when Tommy was seen partying alongside musician Chris Brown and other friends in Dubai, with many videos and photos surfacing from the getaway.

Molly-Mae was also recently spotted on an outing with baby Bambi without her engagement ring, leading many fans to jump to conclusions that the pair had split.

Since then, the 24-year-old mum-of-one has taken to her Instagram to share with her 7.8 million followers a couple snaps of her donning the ring to put an end to the split speculation once and for all.

Fans took no time rushing to social media to share what they reckon is the 'real reason' why Molly-Mae doesn't wear her engagement ring all the time.

One fan penned: "People kept commenting 'Are you a Tommy still together', people are allowed to take off engagement rings you know and still be together, especially if the ring was expensive."

A second hit out: "Would you actually wear that rock all the time? Sure she must take it off so she doesn’t catch/damage when doing certain things!"

"Does no one with babies and small children take their engagement rings off to prevent lil ones getting their skin scratched or even just to let our fingers heal from dry skin," wrote a third.

"Has everyone forgotten that Molly and Tommy were robbed previously?" pointed out a final social media user.

"Her fiancé has been away, she is a new mumma which is one of the most vulnerable times for a woman as it is, let's cut the poor woman some slack if she decides not to wear one of her most valuable, sentimental items when she is on her own."

The Love Island star's engagement ring is reportedly worth £600k.

Back in 2021, Molly-Mae and Tommy became victims of a £800k burglary when an 'experienced gang' robbed their Manchester flat.

The social media star has reportedly since hired extra security to protect her engagement ring which is allegedly worth a mammoth £600k.

A source told The Sun: "Molly has been really aware of flashing too much wealth following their 2021 break in.

"She’s had security in the past and is getting it again, especially now she always has daughter Bambi with her.

"Molly has seen what happened to Kim Kardashian in Paris and she recently doesn’t want to end up in a similar situation.

Tommy Fury has been making headlines in recent weeks after his 'wild' night out in Dubai.

"She loves sharing her life with her fans, but just knows she has to be careful."

Molly-Mae and Tommy, who first crossed paths back in 2019 on Love Island and were runners up on the show, have been regularly updating their followers with all their exciting relationship milestones from moving into their Manchester home, welcoming their first child together back in January and getting engaged this summer.

Tyla has previously contacted Molly-Mae's representatives for comment.
