Millie Bobby Brown once revealed that Henry Cavill set 'very strict' boundaries for her while they worked together.
The 22-year-old Stranger Things actress and Man of Steel star Cavill, 42, have previously worked together on Netflix’s 2020 mystery flick Enola Holmes and the sequel, Enola Holmes 2, a few years later, and it's clear the latter was keen on keeping things as professional as possible on set.
Speaking to Deadline back in 2022, Brown opened up about how her working relationship with Cavill differed from her more 'sibling' relationship with her Stranger Things co-stars.
"It’s different because I grew up with Noah [Schnapp] and Charlie [Heaton]. I met them when I was 10," she explained. "So, for me, it does feel like your schoolmates. With Henry, it feels like a real adult relationship. Like a really good friendship, a really healthy one."

Brown continued: "I know Henry. He has terms and conditions with me.
"I’m not allowed to ask about his personal life. It’s like, 'Millie, shut up. No.' And I’m like, 'Understood.' Whereas with the Stranger Things kids, it’s different.
"There’s no boundaries because it’s like we’re all siblings. But with Henry, he’s very strict with me, which I appreciate."
For his part, Cavill said of Millie while promoting Enola Holmes 2: "Sherlock and Enola's relationship in the film is similar to how Millie and I are with one another in the sense that Millie has no respect for Sherlock."
He also told Lifestyle.NQ of his motivation for joining Enola Holmes: "I am a fan of Millie Bobby Brown, I think she’s extraordinary. I have watched her stuff. The opportunity to play in a movie supporting her character [...], it was a no brainer for me."

Elsewhere in the interview, Brown described her experience in the Enola Holmes movies as 'pivotal' in her acting career and praised director Harry Bradbeer for his 'attention to detail', explaining that level of intricacy is what 'makes the film so immersive'.
"Everyone on set knows Harry and his way and his spirit. The dedication to the film is unlike all of us put together. So yes, it does come down to performance, but it also very much comes down to directing and being able to have a connection with your director," she said.

"It’s a dream come true. As for me, I learned many things, because I’m an upcoming young woman, and that is a real learning curve for me. This is a very big pivotal moment within my career and my life. This is the first role I’ve really led."
The third instalment to the film franchise, Enola Holmes 3, is set to come out later this year.
Brown, who plays Enola, and Cavill, who plays Sherlock, will be returning alongside Louis Partridge as Tewkesbury and Helena Bonham Carter as Eudoria.
Philip Barantini, who is best known for Boiling Point and Adolescence, will be directing the crime mystery flick.
