Millie Bobby Brown reveals fiancé Jake Bongiovi proposed with mother's ring
The Stranger Things star already has her 'something old' for her wedding day, as Jake Bongiovi proposed with a ring from Bobby Brown's mum
According to tradition, brides need something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue on their big day.
Well, Millie Bobby Brown already has one of those thanks to her fiancé Jake Bongiovi.
In fact, The Stranger Things star has revealed that her partner proposed with a vintage ring that had belonged to her mum, Kelly, in a seriously sweet gesture (Seriously, could they be any cuter?).

As she promoted her first book, Nineteen Steps, the actor revealed that she’d always had her eye on the stunning diamond ring.
Eager to impress his other half, Bongiovi, 21, later asked Bobby Brown’s mum if he could use the ring to propose.
Rather sweetly, the Stranger Things star was completely unaware of his plans.
“I’ve always loved that ring, it’s always stuck out to me, so she gave it to Jake,” she told the Sunday Times, adding: “They were in cahoots about the whole proposal. I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me.”
Whilst some fans have expressed concerns over the 19-year-old settling down so soon, Bobby Brown said she knew immediately the rockstar’s son was the ‘one’.
The Enola Holmes actor first met Jake Bongiovi, who is the son of legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi, back in 2021 on Instagram.
“I was interested in him and wanted to know more. As soon as we spoke I knew he was going to be a huge part of my life,” she gushed about her fiancé.
“I ran to my mum and said, ‘I really, really like him!’ After we met we knew we never wanted to leave each other’s side.
Bobby Brown then confessed: “You can’t pinpoint why, it’s just the feeling of knowing that that’s the person you want to spend the rest of your time with.
“I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him. So I didn’t really have to do much thinking.”
The couple announced their engagement in April, with the Netflix star sharing a beautiful black and white photograph – which included her mother’s ring.
In the caption on Instagram, she wrote: “I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all.”
Having helped with the proposal, Bobby Brown’s parents are excited to see the actor-turned-writer take the next step with Bongiovi.
“They are super-happy. My parents adore him. [Jake and I] both come from parents that have stayed together for a really long time,” revealed the 19-year-old.
Well, we can’t wait to see what’s next for the happy couple.
