It might just be one of the most bizarre celeb 'feuds' out there, but Miley Cyrus has finally spoken out on her alleged beef with Jennifer Lawrence.
For those in need of a reminder, rumours of a rift between the pair first hit headlines following the release of The Hunger Games in 2012.
Oscar-winner Lawrence had been cast as Katniss Everdeen in the blockbusters - the lead role in the dystopian series. Liam Hemsworth, meanwhile, played one of her two central love interests and fellow District 12 resident, Gale Hawthorne.
The pair are said to have gotten close away from the cameras, despite Hemsworth having been dating Cyrus at the time.

He and the Hannah Montana star got together two years prior, after themselves meeting on the set of The Last Song in 2009.
During promotional interviews for the Hunger Games films, Hemsworth's chemistry and banter with Lawrence was picked up by fans, who questioned whether their friendship had ever crossed any boundaries.
The pair ceaselessly denied rumours of a fling at the time - though Lawrence admitted in 2023 that she and Hemsworth had enjoyed a sneaky kiss years later, when he and Cyrus had broken up.

Claiming it never went further, the actress joked during a Watch What Happens Live appearance in 2015: "Liam and I grew up together. Liam’s real hot. What would you have done?"
Rumours of a 'feud' grew when Cyrus wore a striking gold gown in the video for her 2023 Grammy-winning single 'Flowers', which was long said to be about her 2020 divorce from the Australian actor after two years of marriage.
Fans couldn't help but notice how much the metallic Yves Saint Laurent dress mirrored a similar number worn by Lawrence at the 2012 Hunger Games premier, believing the choice of garment had been somewhat pointed.

However, over two years since her track was released and the Tennessee song-writer has finally addressed speculation of said spat.
Approached by a fan this week, Cyrus was asked about her choice of music video get-up.
"Miley, was your 'Flowers' dress a reference to Jennifer Lawrence?" they asked, as per the Daily Mail, to which the singer replied: "No, but I love that dress of hers."
Despite seemingly intending to shut down feud rumours, some fans of 32-year-old Cyrus - who has been dating American musician Maxx Morando since 2021 - aren't quite convinced by her response.

"That answer was shady," one noted on Instagram.
Another added: "Nawwww its def about Jennifer Lawrence."
The actress herself also addressed discussions of Cyrus' dress after being asked about it during another WWHL appearance.
"We all know Liam and I, like, kissed one time," Lawrence, 34, explained. "It was years after they broke up.

"So I just assume [the music video] was a coincidence."
Lawrence has been married to filmmaker Cooke Maroney since 2019, with the couple sharing two children together.
Following his divorce, Hemsworth, 35, began a relationship with Australian model, Gabriella Brooks.
