Kim Kardashian's night at the Met Gala yesterday (5 May) had a minor hiccup - and a lip reader claims to know exactly what she said in a moment of frustration.

Before she even made it into the venue, Kim Kardashian endured a blunder at the hands of her security guard who stepped on her Met Gala dress.

The awkward moment has, unsurprisingly, since gone viral on social media after Kim scolded the man as she exited The Ritz-Carlton in New York with her daughter North West on her way to get papped on the official red carpet.

And now, a lip reader has claimed to know what the 44-year-old SKIMS founder actually said during the heated moment.

In her take on this year's theme, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Kim opted for an all-black ensemble featuring a shiny corset crocodile-textured, floor-length dress with a train that trailed behind her.

She also rocked a large black fedora-style hat that was pushed to the front with dark wavy locks to pair and heaps of shiny bling to really make the look pop.

Now, when the security guard stepped on her train, Kim was seen turning around to call out whoever clumsily made the fatal error, with lip reading expert Nicola Hickling sharing her thoughts on what she may have said.

"Can you watch where you step?" the mother-of-four reportedly hit out before eventually carrying on her stride.

A body language expert has also since weighed in on the ordeal.

Speaking on behalf of Casino.ca, Inbaal Honigman told Tyla that Kim appeared 'visibly nervous in her dress' even before anyone stepped on her train.

"She’s seen taking tiny, tiptoe-like steps, the only way she can move in such a tightly fitted gown, and her hands are tensely gripping her sides," the expert notes. "Her fingers are splayed, as if bracing for a possible stumble.

"When a security attendant accidentally steps on Kim’s train and nearly causes her to trip, Kim’s posture barely shifts."

According to Inbaal, the reality TV star had been 'walking so cautiously that her body is already prepared for any disruption'.

"A fall was unlikely, she was too tense and controlled for that. Still, she’s clearly annoyed and immediately turns to address the situation," the expert added. "Her hand flies backward in a dismissive gesture, essentially 'shooing' the interference away, and she calls out, her chin jutting sharply to assert herself and ensure she’s heard.

"Kim then turns back and continues walking, flicking her hair over her shoulder - a classic sign of assertiveness, signalling that she’s in control."
