Chrissy Teigen worries fans as she reveals terrifying injury before Met Gala
Chrissy Teigen had an accident just before the 2024 Met Gala
After so many celebrities donned their best dresses to attend the 2024 Met Gala this year, some people noticed that Chrissy Teigen was absent.
But it’s not because of a fashion-related emergency.
The former model took to Instagram to share with her fans what she was up to during the exclusive event - sitting at home with her neck in a brace.
Chrissy missed Zendaya's striking woodland witchy get up as well as Tyla being carried from the red carpet because of her sandy dress.

She also didn’t get to see Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner stun in two very different takes of The Garden of Time dress code this year.
Taking to social media, she showed everyone a picture of herself wearing a neck brace with the caption: “@ The Met!”
So what on Earth has she done to cause herself such an injury?
In a second post hours later she captioned another image: “I tried to do a headstand.”
In her Story, Chrissy explained: “Oh my God, I’m fine.
“Everybody’s reaching out, I’m OK.
“It’s just a CVS neck band. I just can’t rotate my neck because I tried to do a headstand that didn’t go well.
“That’s all. There’s no story, I promise.”
But she also threw out a curveball and admitted that this injury had nothing to do with her missing the Met Gala.
She said in a follow-up video that she was never planning to go to the Gala this year at all.
So, this injury was simply a strange coincidence!
Teigen last headed to the Met Gala in 2017, and if she comes back she’ll never have risk seeing former President Donald Trump who was formally barred from the event by Anna Wintour herself.
She revealed to James Corden on the Late Late Show that he was a guest who was never allowed to attend.
She deadpanned to James when he asked who if she had banned anyone.
"Donald Trump," she responded while the audience erupted in a cheer.
Trump used to attend the gala every year and proposed to Melania at the 2004 event.
But there will be no chance of that happening again and if the creator of Vogue tells you to get going, you’ve got no choice but to listen.
