Raising kids and balancing a career is not without problems, as Meghan Trainor has revealed.
The 'All About That Bass' star has opened up about some issues she has been experiencing with her five-year-old son, Riley.
As a popstar, Trainor often has to work away or go on tour, and it seems that her little boy has been dealing with some anxiety issues.
As well as Riley, Trainor also shared a three-year-old son, Barry, and a six-month-old daughter, Mikey, with her husband, Daryl Sabara.

She has come up with an ingenious solution for the problem, and shared an update on her Instagram story about her parenting problems.
“My sweet 5-year-old boy is having separation anxiety,” she began by saying.
“So he’s started using his stuffies, his Smurfette, and was like, ‘This is Mama, this is Mama,’" as a coping mechanism.

She added: "I thought, ‘I’ll make a mama, I’ll make a stuffie that looks like Mama'" the star continued.
“The thing is, I did,” Trainor confessed, before holding the doll up to the camera.
It's a pretty good lookalike too!
The cuddly doll has short blond hair and glasses similar to the singer's.
“And he loves it. He kisses it, he hugs it,” she added, as a very pleased Riley joined her.
“Showing off your mama doll, aw, you love it? You think this looks just like me?” she encouraged her son.
“Yup,” Riley agreed, before running away in classic five-year-old style, refusing to stay still.
Trainor was self-deprecating about the doll, as she remarked: "She’s even got my thin hair, do you know what I mean?”
“Kinda looks like me, dude!” she joked.

The star was supposed to head out on tour earlier this year, but revealed she had cancelled it 'after a lot of reflection and some really tough conversations.'
Trainor revealed she was putting her family first: “Balancing the release of a new album, preparing for a nationwide tour and welcoming our new baby girl to our growing family of five has just been more than I can take on right now,” she wrote at the time.
“I know this will come as a disappointment to my fans and I am so sorry to let you down, but I know this is the right decision for my family and me right now.”
She added: "I promise I’ll be back soon, and I can’t wait for you to hear this new record. I’m so proud of it, and I’m endlessly grateful for your love and support always.”
Trainor previously spoke out about the backlash she received after it was revealed that she had her youngest daughter via surrogate.
She told Kylie Kelce on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, “I was like, ‘Oh, they hate me now,’"
"And it was a cloud of tears every night of just worry. I want my daughter to come to this world and not have everyone attack her for the way she got here," she added.
"All of that went through my head. But my team was with me, my therapist is with me … Everyone was so supportive.”
