Taylor Ward broke down in tears when she opened up about the 'emotional rollercoaster' that followed after moving to Saudi Arabia with her footballer husband, Riyad Mahrez.

Taylor, who is the daughter of Dawn Ward - is married to ex-footballer Ashley Ward and shot to fame after starring in The Real Housewives of Cheshire.

Now, she has a show of her own following her life as a fellow WAG.

The docuseries Married To The Game is set to premiere on Prime Video later this month (23rd February). Check out the official trailer here:

The series gives viewers 'unprecedented access' to the lives of the wives and girlfriends of Premier League footballers including the likes of İlkay Gündoğan, Jorginho, James Tarkowski, Matt Turner and Riyad.

Now, Riyad made the move from Manchester City to the Saudi Pro League side Al-Ahli last summer leaving his wife, Taylor, totally 'overwhelmed' by starting a new life abroad.

Footage from Riyad breaking the massive news to her has since made its rounds across social media, with Taylor admitting she was left 'haunted' by the whole ordeal.

One clip from the upcoming series sees Taylor explaining: "Riyad rung me and basically told me that 'we're moving to Saudi'."

The clip then pans to Taylor sat across from her hubby as she tells him: "I'm going to be sat at home on my own," at which point Riyard tells her it's simply 'part of the game'.

Taylor has since opened up about that exchange in an interview with the Daily Mail where she admits that line still 'haunts' her.

"I keep seeing it on social media," she added. "That whole week was just an emotional rollercoaster really.

"It was a huge shock and I had absolutely no idea. One day we were planning for Riyad to go back to pre-season with City and then overnight we were moving to Saudi and I was planning this whole move."

She went on: "I think it was just very overwhelming at the time and a massive shock because I just didn't see it coming at all."

Since moving to Saudi Arabia, Taylor has shared with fans exactly what she's missing from back home.

"The vibe is just very different," she continued. "It's a lot more chilled out there, it's quieter and calmer, whereas in Manchester life is so busy - there's so much going on and we're always going out for dinner and seeing friends.

"That's probably what I'm missing the most, seeing family and friends rather than what the country is missing.

Taylor admitted she misses her life back in Manchester, including seeing family and friends.

"At the moment they're looking at relaxing these rules. From what I had heard, I was worried about that stuff when we first went, but it's surprised me.

"It's more relaxed from what I was first told."

Married To The Game will be available to stream on Amazon Prime later this month (23 February).
