Love Island UK stars Aidan and Kavan’s family and friends address Jasmine row - it’s raising eyebrows

Aidan and Kavan's have seemingly weighed in on the drama between them and Jasmine and fans aren't too pleased.

The Love Island villa became tense after the Islanders played a game which exposed their secrets.

In the challenge titled It’s Not that Deep, the Islanders flew down a mini slide before being hit with a juicy ‘secret’ about someone of the opposite sex. Their job was to then guess who it belonged to before launching a drink straight into their face.

What might sound like harmless fun on paper quickly turned messy as most of the revelations centred on sex, relationships - from ‘keeping a list’ of past partners, to whether body counts should be shared at all.

It was the most exploding argument of the series so far, as the boys and girls couldn’t agree.

For the girls, the secrets they had to guess included “This boy’s nightmare partner is someone who loves attention”, “This boy has slept with 11 girls but can only recall 3 of their names,” and “This boy’s friends would describe him as having a wandering eye”.

Meanwhile the boys had to guess secrets like: “This girl once said I love you followed by her ex’s name to her boyfriend at the time,” “This girl thinks it’s fine to hide how many people she’s slept with from her partner,” and “This girl has been told that her red flag is leading guys on.”

The boys and girls ended up clashing hard over what some saw as double standards, with some of the guys claiming ‘hypocrisy’ among the women. Several of the guys accused the girls of overreacting to their answers.

Islander Jasmine argued with brothers Aidan and Kavan, and to make matters even more strained, she's coupled up with the latter.

Aidan sat down with Jasmine to talk about her reactions in the challenge.

“I didn’t like that reaction. Like, the getting up…

“If that was me, I wouldn’t want to be with somebody like that.

He then said: “Just that whole reaction. I just think it was really off putting.

“I think you’re a lovely person though, Jas, I do. I just think when it gets heated and stuff like that, I don’t know.”

She argued back: “I don’t think you could handle it to be fair.

“Nice, tell me I’m off putting, thanks.”

Jasmine walked away from the situation soon after.

The brothers' sister-in-law posted a comment in response to a clip shared from the argument.

“Aidan standing in business and Jasmine don’t like it,” they said.

Viewers were divided, with some fans supporting Aidan while others were fully behind Jasmine.

"What an odd thing to say," a viewer said in response to the comment from the brothers' friend.

"How ridiculous," said another fan of the show on social media.

"She does not deserve that," a third wrote on TikTok.

The fallout will continue tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
