Leigh-Anne Pinnock admits relationship with husband has been ‘hell’ after only seeing him twice a month for two years

Leigh-Anne Pinnock admits relationship with husband has been ‘hell’ after only seeing him twice a month for two years

Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared that she 'can't do it anymore'

Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock has expressed the difficulty of her marriage to husband, professional footballer Andre Gray, due to the long distance.

Leigh-Anne and Andre, both 32, share twins together.

The two were first romantically linked in 2016 after meeting in Marbella.

They were engaged in 2020 and tied the knot last year in a stunning ceremony in Jamaica, surrounded by their close friends and family.

Leigh-Anne opened up about their relationship in an interview with Glamour last year, sharing: “We’ve been through so much to the point where we could’ve split up, but we got through it, and I truly believe we had to go through all that to be the strongest couple we could be.”

Leigh-Anne has made further comments in a podcast episode published today (29 May).

Speaking to co-host Lennie Ware on the Table Manners podcast, Leigh-Anne said: "We have a long-distance relationship. He lives in Saudi, he plays football there.

"So for the last two years, we’ve been apart basically, seeing each other for like maybe two days a month. It’s been hell to be honest."

Lennie then asked if Leigh-Anne feels any resentment towards the long-distance dynamic.

She replied: "I really try not to. We know what he’s doing it for, do you know what I mean, he’s doing it for us.

"And when Andre’s contract ends this summer, she shared that she didn’t know where he would go next.

"That’s the thing about being with a footballer, you just don’t know where you’re gonna be and I can’t move with him anywhere because obviously, I can’t have a career wherever he’s gonna go, I have to obviously be local to home.

"I had it good [at the start] because he played for QPR, he did Watford, and that was local so I had a couple of years of us living together. We had the babies and then he had to go."

She then stated: "I can’t do it anymore, I can’t do it."

This heartbreaking admission follows her ex-bandmate Perrie Edwards opening up about her own long distance relationship.

30-year-old Perrie admitted she has never lived in the same city as her partner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

She told press: "We’ve never lived together - the eight years we’ve been in a relationship, we’ve never actually lived together.

The singer's confession shocked fans, as the couple share a child together, a baby boy named Axel.
