Lady Gaga has issued a statement after police foiled a targeted bomb plot for her Rio concert attended by millions.
Over the weekend (3 May), the 39-year-old pop icon put on her biggest show ever at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but it was later confirmed by police that there was a plot for a 'bomb attack' targeting her fans - who Gaga famously calls her 'Little Monsters'.
Authorities added that those behind the plot hoped to use minors to conduct the attack.

She continued: "An estimated 2.5 million people came to see me sing, the biggest crowd for any woman in history. I wish I could share this feeling with the whole world - I know I can’t, but I can say this - if you lose your way, you can find your way back if you believe in yourself and work hard.
