Kylie Jenner fans have defended the star after a video of her crying sparked major criticism online.

The 26-year-old reality TV star broke down in tears during a recent episode of The Kardashians after discussing the cruel taunting she'd received over her Paris Fashion Week appearance.

The Kylie Cosmetics founder has faced scrutiny over her appearance for years with the biggest being all to do with her lip filler which she admitted to having in 2015.

On a recent episode of The Kardashians, she cried when talking to her sister, model Kendall Jenner.

She referred to Paris Fashion Week in January this year, where she debuted a more natural look than usual with less makeup.

But many picked apart her look, while others defended her from the mean comments.

Reflecting on the reception, Kylie told Kendall during the episode: "It’s a miracle that I still have confidence and I could still look in the mirror and think that I’m pretty."

She continued: “I’m kind of like, so numb to people talking about my looks at this point, and I just want to know why on the internet no one says anything or thinks that it’s OK.”

Kylie then said that people attacked her appearance before she'd had any filler at all, so it was a lose-lose situation.

Kendall chimed in: "They don’t think that there are any rules with us."

She then added that people tend to think the Kardashian-Jenners don't 'have any feelings'.

Kendall added: “If you talked the same way you talk about us about any other woman, people would come to their defence all day long."

Kylie responded: "I think with me it’s never going to change. Why do people think it’s OK to talk about me?

"I’ve never cried about this before, but I guess it does affect me."

Kylie also added that if she had worn makeup, then she'd be criticised for 'wearing too much'.

She then concluded: “I can’t let the comments get me down. I can’t let the comments get me down. I have s**t to do. Rise above.”

After the episode aired, some viewers took to social media to criticise Kylie for her comments.

Others, however, rushed to to defend her, with one X user writing: "Unpopular opinion: I don’t think Kylie Jenner deserves all this hate."

Another penned: "It doesn’t matter how rich she is, her feelings are still valid btw."

And a final X user sympathised: "Tbh I do feel bad she literally doesn't bother anyone."
