After Kylie Jenner was praised by millions of women earlier this week for opening up on the exact details of her breast augmentation surgery, a top plastic surgeon has issued a damning response.
For those out of the loop, The Kardashians star was branded things like 'refreshing', 'transparent', 'one of the girls' and 'so real' for discussing her cosmetic treatment so publicly - a subject that many celebrities would have shied away from, or outright denied.
The revelation occurred after Jenner, 27, was asked by British social media star Rachel Leary for the specifics of her breast augmentation, which the TikToker described as the 'most perfect, natural looking boob job ever'.

In a shock twist, the mother-of-two actually responded, writing in the comments: "445 cc, moderate profile, half under the muscle!!!!! silicone!!! garth fisher!!! hope this helps lol."
As we say, Jenner was subsequently applauded for refusing to 'gatekeep' the details surrounding her surgery.
"Honestly I LOVE this from her!!!!! Yes Kylie with the openness and honesty. BIG aura points," one fan gushed of the star.

Another wrote: "No because I’ve been dying for this information."
Unfortunately, however, Jenner's admission didn't down too well with all of her online followers, many of whom criticised her for 'normalising' an 'unrealistic body standard' and 'harming' her 'impressionable audience'.
One individual in agreement with the latter is cosmetic surgeon Dr Terry Dubrow, who is warning the Kylie Cosmetics boss' followers to avoid going under the knife at a young age, being that Jenner had her surgery at 19.
The Botched medic told TMZ: "I'm very happy that she's admitting to having that done, but I think a year ago she said she regretted it.

"And then her friend [Stassie Karanikolaou] said she regretted it too. So the message you’re giving out - I think she should say it’s great, but I think it’s important that she caution people."
The on-screen surgeon went on to explain: "She had it at age 19. Age 19 is not cool to have a breast augmentation, right?
"It’s pretty young. So when someone like Kylie can really move the needle like that, I think she sort of admits to having procedure done, it’s better to admit it and say, you know, maybe I shouldn’t have done it so early."

Dubrow continued: "Because when Kylie admits to it, everyone’s gonna go ahead and get it."
The medic went on to issue a warning about the importance of evaluating whether a permanent surgery is really the appropriate decision, and that celebrities shouldn't be using their platforms to sway this.
"Evaluate the risks, make sure it’s something you really want to do and understand what the complications are associated with it," he went on.
"Be very careful with plastic surgery because it’s really serious."
