Khloe Kardashian has clarified what she meant about being a ‘third parent’ to Rob Kardashian and Angela Renee White’s (Blac Chyna) daughter, Dream.

On a recent episode of The Kardashian’s, the 39-year-old was putting on a birthday party for her six-year-old niece.

During the course of the show, the reality TV star also admitted that she had no contact with Dream’s mum, the model formerly known as Blac Chyna.

Khloe said: “I do not have a relationship with Dream's mom. It's hard to have a relationship with someone when they sue you for hundreds of millions of dollars.”

Following the comments, the businesswoman took to her Instagram stories to discuss the media's ‘clickbait headlines’.

In a statement, she wrote: “It saddens me to see clickbait headlines that are taken out of context or twisted to be something it’s not.

“I love ALL my nieces and nephews more than I can express. Dream and I are particularly close. My brother and I are extremely close.”

The Good American co-founder then doubled down and stated to her 310 million followers that she is with her six-year-old niece and Rob, 36, ‘all of the time’.

“I consider ALL of my nieces and nephews my babies. I even consider my sisters my babies,” she continued.

Elsewhere, she said: “I wholeheartedly believe that it takes a village to raise a child. Life is full of ups and downs and I am proud that we have a family that can lean on one another.

“That’s what family does. We are a tribe and all of us will always be there for one another. Especially the babies!”

In a further statement, Khloe said that both Rob and Angela are doing the best they can ‘as a parent and in life’.

“I’m sure the narrative of ‘The Kardashains’ VS Chyna’ is more fun to read about but there is really nothing there anymore. We all want to move on from the negativity.”

The mum-of-two also stated that the family’s ‘focus is on Dream’.

In a final comment, Khloe said: “Please stop pinning us against one another. Life is hard enough. Let’s try to lead with love and understanding especially when children are involved who may see your clickbait one day.”

Rob and Angela welcomed their first daughter Dream into the world in 2016 before the couple split up a year later.

In the same year as their break-up, the 35-year-old model took her ex-boyfriend to court for defamation alongside his sisters Khloe, Kim Kardashian, 42, Kylie Jenner, 25, and mum Kris, 67.

In 2022, the jury found that the five members of the family were innocent following a two-week trial.
