Lamar Odom and Khloé Kardashian have awkwardly reunited following their divorce back in 2016.

The former couple tied the knot back in 2009 but Khloé ultimately called it quits after finding out Lamar had cheated on her multiple times.

Khloé has since gone on to have two children, a daughter named True and a son named Tatum, with her ex-partner, NBA player Tristan Thompson.

However, Lamar still refers to the Good American boss as his 'wife' despite being broken up for years now.

In the season six premiere of The Kardashians, Lamar could be seen arriving at Khloé's home to pick up some old belongings as he quipped: "My wife is the s**t."

Khloé seemingly didn't think too much of the comment as she said with a laugh: "OK, calm down."

In a confessional, the reality TV star admitted that she does not 'have a lot of emotions' surrounding the reunion with her ex-husband.

She explained: "I have dealt with so much trauma in this relationship. For years, this was such the love of my life that to learn how to unlove someone, to have to go through all that, it’s almost like a death.

"So, him calling me his 'wife', words are empty. I don’t know this person anymore."

`Khloé also called the meet-up a 'mindf**k' and said she felt like it was simultaneously 'so familiar' yet ''so uncharted'.

Back in 2015, Lamar opened up about why he calls Khloé his 'wife' despite no longer being together.

"A misunderstanding between me and my wife became public," he told In Touch. "It’s hurtful. That woman is my wife. Without the ring on my finger. [Even] with her picture being taken with another man, that woman is my wife."

He added: "She’s [my] soul mate. I can’t control it. We’ll never part. I would never consider myself serious with another woman.

"To sum it up, if a man is attempting to court Khloé, he’s probably wasting his time."

Khloé recently opened up about why her divorce from Lamar was harder than her split from Tristan.

The candid confession was made on her podcast Khloé In Wonderland.

Speaking to Jay Shetty, the 40-year-old said: "With my first husband, I was younger and I think that was a lot harder for me.

"But what’s interesting was with each relationship where something bad has happened, I didn’t take it and was like, ‘Whoa is me. I’m this victim.'

"I took it more like, 'Okay, that’s another layer of armour that I’m putting on myself that I can get through anything else that happens in my life, but it’s also not going to harden me for my next relationship'."
