Kendall Jenner’s sibling bluntly shuts down Jacob Elordi rumour

Kendall Jenner’s brother Brody has officially shut down the bizarre money rumours about his sister and her boyfriend, Jacob Elordi.

Now, we all know that the internet loves a good gossip, especially when it comes to celebrity relationships, with the latest hearsay to do the rounds being centred around Kendall, 30, and Jacob, 29, who have been romantically linked since early 2026.

As reported by Buzzfeed, MailOnline recently published an article alleging that Kendall’s friends and family have ‘concerns’ about their new romance, and that the model is ‘footing the bill for expensive trips, luxury hotels and private jets,’ while the Wuthering Heights actor is ‘not contributing to expenses’.

A source told the outlet: “Some of Kendall's family members think she is spending too much time with Jacob and catering to him too much.

“They are totally inseparable. She plans all their expensive trips, she has the big houses, she books the private jets, she has the connections.”

The wild claims quickly went viral and have been posted across many pop culture and celebrity social media pages, including The Spill Room, where a post has racked up 27,000 likes.

However, as we say, the rumour has been swiftly shut down by Kendall’s older brother Brody, who took to the comments himself to set the record straight.

He wrote: “I can confirm that this is clickbait,” alongside a thumbs down emoji.

Brody’s defence of his sister comes after he did something similar for Kylie Jenner, defending her relationship with Timothée Chalamet.

As per PEOPLE Magazine, he responded to a Daily Mail interview with someone who alleged to have previously been involved with the actor.

Brody wrote in an Instagram comment: “Oh god just leave the happy couple alone” along with an eye-roll emoji.

He continued, “People have lives before they meet their person. This girl is clearly doing this for attention, and everyone can see right through it.”

Speaking of Kendall and Jacob’s relationship, a source previously told the outlet: “It hasn’t been too long, but they seem like they’ve been together for a long time.”

“Kendall loves that he’s laid back, and she thinks he is fun to be around,” adding that Kendall’s family have ‘welcomed him in and are happy to see Kendall so happy’.

It also follows whispers of everyone’s favourite theory, ‘the Kardashian curse,’ making a comeback.

For those who aren’t familiar, it’s a bizarre and long-running theory which claims that celebrities who become romantically involved with the famous family suffer career setbacks, bad luck, or personal turmoil.

Of course, there is no proof behind it whatsoever, and it’s simply a superstition that social media has become obsessed with.

Some fans theorised that the ‘curse’ meant Jacob’s latest movie, The Dog Stars, got some negative reviews from critics and not heaps of publicity.

One Redditor wrote: The social media user went on to question: “Isn't it mind-blowing how Jacob's media presence has been completely swallowed whole since linking up with Kendall?”

Others have previously, brutally blamed Timothée's Oscar loss on his romance with Kylie. Ouch.
