It’s been over a week now since Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews ‘went missing’ in Dubai - and the latest update has only added to the confusion.
The British reality TV star, 48, took to YouTube to declare that the businessman, 41, whom she married in January after a whirlwind romance, is a 'missing person'.
In her video posted on 16 May, Katie said the last time she heard from her husband was 13 May at 10pm, after he didn’t turn up to their joint scheduled Good Morning Britain interview the day prior.
She said in the video that he was trying to go through the border in Dubai to get on a flight to the UK, when he FaceTimed her ‘with a hood on, and worryingly said, 'I've just been captured, arrested’.

The former glamour model added, "We are wondering if he’s been kidnapped; he’s definitely a missing person now. No one can find him in any prison, any police station; the police can’t find any record of him.”
Lee was officially declared a missing person shortly after Katie’s video, while a spokesperson for FCDO has given the following statement to LADbible Group: "We are supporting the family of a British man and are in contact with the local authorities."

Katie has been keeping fans updated on social media and most recently posted a song dedicated to her missing partner.
On Friday (22 May), Katie shared a video of the tune, alongside the caption: “Missing my husband so much it breaks my heart knowing he is still missing, so I did this song quick as words mean so much to the situation.”
In the latest update, though, a source has claimed to The Sun that Lee’s phone appears to have been switched back on as messages to him are allegedly now delivering.
The source told the publication, “I had been messaging Lee and was getting no response.
“But on Sunday morning, my messages had gone from a single tick to a double - so that device is back on and being used.”
They added that Lee has multiple phones, but this is the one that is being used now’.
It comes after more unusual phone activity raised eyebrows, as eagle-eyed followers of the situation noticed that the businessman had followed another woman on Instagram on Thursday (21 May).
Previously, Katie had been the only account he'd followed, but last week, he also went on to follow a US Navy veteran called Marisol, who later blocked him.
According to The Sun, Marisol confirmed to the outlet that she does not know Lee and has never exchanged messages with him, and has now blocked him.
An insider told the outlet, “Katie is disgusted and appalled. Today is her birthday, yet she’s heard nothing from her husband, but seeing him follow another woman online is just outrageous."
While Katie herself has said she’ll be 'taking a step back' from the investigation, following mass speculation that the disappearance was staged.
She said on her podcast The Katie Price Show: "There’s only one person I need to look after, and that’s myself, so I’m taking a step back. I don’t know what’s true, what’s not true - I don’t know.
"My tentacles are up, my antennas are up, and I’ve decided to take a step back from everything, assess everything in my way, and just continue with my life.”
