Katie Price reveals reason why she will be ordering takeaway on Christmas Day

Katie Price has opened up about why she's going to be eating takeaway for Christmas day dinner this year.

While many of us sit down to dig into a home-cooked roast turkey with all the trimmings, the 45-year-old former glamour model and I'm A Celeb contestant will be having a rather different festive meal with her family.

This festive season, Price has been taking part in a pantomime production of Sleeping Beauty in Liverpool.

Price is playing the role of The Wicked Fairy Carabosse and said ahead of the run, as per the show's website: "I am so excited to be performing in Liverpool. I love the city and can’t wait to bring my kids along with me and make some amazing memories."

However, Price's kids won't be joining her up in Liverpool to watch her today for Christmas Eve.

And working all the way up until the day before Christmas has taken such a toll on the mum-of-five.

Speaking on her podcast The Katie Price Show, the mum explained she finishes the Christmas Eve performance of the panto at 6.00pm tonight.

She continues: "Do you know what I'm doing Christmas Day? I am exhausted [...] There's no way I'm coming with the kids, all their presents, for a five-hour drive back home, to have Christmas Day to get up here for two o'clock for Boxing Day.

"I'm not having that stress. So Christmas Day I'm not cooking, I'm going to get a takeaway curry."

And it doesn't seem like Price is going to be getting a proper break anytime soon either.

The media personality and OnlyFans model is also set to star in Big Dick Whittington and His Pussy taking place at The Exchange 1856 in Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Price announced her role as Queen Rat in a post to Instagram earlier this year.

The caption reads: "Guess who's ready to unleash some wickedly naughty fun as the hilarious Queen Rat in "Big Dick Whittington and His Pussy" at The Exchange 1856 in Newcastle Upon Tyne this January? That's right, it's yours truly!
