The Princess of Wales made a stunning appearance at the King’s banquet for the Sultan of Oman on Tuesday October 20th – on the same day Prince Harry said he wanted to reconcile with his family.
Prince William and Princess Catherine accompanied King Charles and Queen Camilla as they hosted Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said at St George’s Hall at Windsor Castle, reported the Daily Mail.
Kate was wearing a yellow Elie Saab gown with a cape and train alongside her well-known Lover’s Knot tiara, a bracelet which once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth and diamond earrings.
William donned a white tie, Windsor coat, Most Noble Order of the Garter Sash and medals.

The event was held hours after Prince Harry took part in an interview with GQ he wanted to reconcile after declaring: ‘some people don’t want it to work out.’

He admitted during the interview that he was grieving the ‘complicated relationships’ with his brother William and father King Charles.
When asked whether he truly wanted to reconcile, he replied: “Of course I do. With everything else that's going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile. That's the key point.”
But hours after the interview a spokesperson for the Sussexes issued a clarification about Harry’s ‘some people don’t want it to work out’ comment, which was widely interpreted as a dig at William.
The spokesperson said: “It was absolutely not intended as a swipe at his brother or any other member of his family.
“The comment was made in a general context and was not directed at his family in any way.”

Tyla understands Harry has not spoken to William since the funeral of the brothers’ grandmother Queen Elizabeth four years ago.
Charles gave a speech on friendship between Britain and its ally Oman, which he said was particularly important during the current ‘painful’ period in the Middle East.
He drew attention to the ‘pride’ he held for William and the Crown Prince of Oman Theyazin bin Haitham in becoming patrons of the Jewel of Arabia expedition, which drew attention to cultural and environmental issues.
He said, “Your Majesty, there can be few happier symbols of success than a living relationship being passed from one generation to the next.”
The Sultan was visiting Windsor Castle as part of a three-day state visit to the UK.

Charles said it was a “treasured moment to receive dear and old friends.”
“Oman is one of Britain's oldest allies and, after all these years, I pray, one of your closest friends,” he said.
Regarding the current conflict in the Strait of Hormuz, he said: “Oman's noble efforts in trying to keep open one of the world's most important shipping routes have been of great service to the whole international community, and particularly to the most vulnerable of those affected.
“Oman's role across the Gulf and her 'constructive neutrality,' as you put it, matters far beyond Hormuz, and is worthy of our utmost respect.
“The unique and special relationship we share helps to make the world and our peoples safe.”
