Justin Bieber's mum, Pattie Mallette, has shared that she's 'praying for her son' and 'cheering him on' in an emotional message on Instagram.

It comes just after 'Bieber Fever' was well and truly sparked again amid the singer's musical comeback, as he gears up to headline Coachella next year.

The star-studded 2026 lineup for the California festival was announced on September 16, with the Canadian pop star, 31, headlining alongside Sabrina Carpenter, Karol G and Anyma.

After a few years of slower sales post-pandemic, the festival has quickly sold out for both weekends, just three days after tickets went on sale.

And it seems that Pattie is very proud of her son, whom she shares with ex Jeremy Bieber, as she took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message on Tuesday (September 23).

It was posted alongside a slideshow of black and white images of the singer wearing a top which reads: "Pray for me".

Pattie penned in the caption: "We’re cheering you on and praying for you always Justin,"

She added: "I declare freedom, strength, clarity, and healing over you Justin. Every chain of fear, confusion, heaviness, and pain—be broken in Jesus’ name.

"Holy Spirit, surround him with TRUTH, LIGHT, and PROTECTION. HEAL EVERY WOUND in his heart, mind and body, seen and unseen, restore what’s been stolen, and cover him in WHOLENESS."

The message continued: "Fill him to OVERFLOWING with Your LOVE and COMFORT. Continue to raise him up as a voice for Your Kingdom, unshaken and on fire for You Lord.

"Silence every voice that doesn’t come from You, and let his life be a bold witness of Your power, love, and healing grace. Say amen if you agree."

Fans of the singer quickly rushed to Instagram to share their support for the singer, writing in the comments: "Godspeed Justin. It’s your breakthrough moment" and "So proud of your son! He is his most authentic self right now and he is in full artistic control."

A third wrote: "Amen Pattie, Remind him for me we are going through this together, and Gods plan will always ultimately prevail."

However, the post also left some fans confused over 'what happened' to the star for his mum to be posting a prayer.

"What happened to Justin?" one worried fan wrote, in a comment that's racked up over 100 likes.

But others quickly reassured that 'nothing is wrong' and 'it's just a mother's prayer'.

It's been a busy year for the pop star, who is married to Hailey Bieber, as he's released two albums within just months of each other.

'Swag' was made available on July 11 and was the first album Bieber has released in a decade, marking his historical musical comeback.

It was shortly followed up by a second surprise album, 'Swag II,' which the hitmaker shocked the world with earlier this month, on September 5.
