In the midst of his online tirade against a mystery mate, Justin Bieber has seemingly received a small telling-off by wife Hailey.
Taking to Instagram last night (15 June), the beauty boss penned a four-word quip about her family's Father's Day celebrations, which appeared to be taking aim at the Canadian singer.
Hailey's move came just hours after Bieber, 31, shared a series of savage private text messages online that left his fans both concerned and confused.

The screenshots - which the singer shared on Instagram - kicked off with one that showed the musician voicing his frustration to an unknown recipient.
"I will never suppress my emotions for someone," Bieber's first set of messages read. "Conflict is a part of relationship. If you don't like my anger you don't like me. My anger is a response. To pain I have been thru.
"Asking a traumatized person not to be traumatized is simply mean."

The other individual then wrote back: "I'm not used to someone lashing out at me. It's not that I don't see and feel your anger."
'Boyfriend' singer Bieber then bit back: "Ouch. This friendship is officially over. I will never accept a man calling my anger lashing out."
He went on to declare: "I enjoyed our short lived relationship. I wasn't kidding when I told u I didn't need u as a friend.
"I have good friends. Who will respect these boundaries."

In another set of messages, Bieber could be seen telling the recipient: "I thought u were a p*ssy. Which is why I always kept my distance but I was willing to give you the benifit [sic] of the doubt.
"This confirms u were the p*ssy I always thought u were."
After sending the 'middle finger' emoji, the father-of-one - who shares 10-month-old son Jack Blues with Rhode CEO wife Hailey - told his ex-pal: "Blocking u now."

Following the 'Baby' hitmaker's spat, his wife Hailey, 28, seemed to lightheartedly rub salt into his wounds with a Father's Day tribute in a since-deleted comment.
After Bieber shared a photo marking the special occasion, the model took to the comments to write: "Father's Day sucks a**."
Her four-word comment comes in response to a similar sentiment that her husband aimed in her direction earlier this year.

When Mother's Day rolled around in March, marking Hailey's first as a mum, Bieber baffled fans by writing on Instagram: "Love u moms but mothers day sucks a**."
Thankfully, however, it sounds as though there's no real bad blood between the pair, with the musician sharing a photo of what appeared to be a gift that Hailey had purchased for him for the special day.
In said snap, he could be seen admiring a gold and diamond Audemars Piguet watch as well as two Prada bags, captioning the collection: "Happy daddy day to me u lil ho," as per The Mail.
Bieber has since changed the caption to the 'middle finger' emoji.
