JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have given fans an update on their romance as the smitten pair are about to spend their first Christmas together.
For those who need a reminder, the Dance Moms star, 22, and former Love Islander, 33, first met in the Celebrity Big Brother house back in April and instantly hit it off as pals.
JoJo was in a relationship with influencer Kath Ebbs at the time; however, this came to an end following a brutal break-up, which took place at the show’s afterparty. Then, in June, after months of speculation, UK and US visits to see each other, and fans obsessing over the unlikely celebrity duo, they finally confirmed that they were together - and it looks like they’ve been going from strength to strength ever since.
As we say, they're now about to spend their first Christmas together, with JoJo jetting over to the Cotswolds to enjoy the important day with the reality TV star's family, after the pair will have spent a week with the 'Karma' singer's nearest and dearest beforehand in Los Angeles.

Speaking to The Sun in a new interview, the lovebirds delved into their plans for the festive season, as well as their future engagement plans.

JoJo gushed: “It’s my first Christmas away from my family - and in England, too!”
While Chris admitted: “You can imagine how her mum Jess feels. But she will be alright. I’ll sweeten her up with a lovely present."
He went on to say that his mother is 'absolutely delighted' that JoJo is joining them for Christmas, adding: "She had been asking me for weeks and weeks, ‘what’s JoJo doing for Christmas?’ I actually said, ‘Mum, chill out.’ It was relentless."
The couple hinted at what they'd be gifting each other this Christmas, with Chris saying he only wants JoJo's 'physical presence,' despite her elaborate plans for Chris's December birthday, which includes getting him 33 gifts - one for each year.
The interviewer then floated the possibility of Chris giving JoJo a 'ring,' to which her eyes reportedly 'lit up' as she responded: "A ring?”
Speaking about what she'd want her big day to be like, the dancer and singer said: "A wedding is a two-person thing. So we would have to decide what it looks like. But I do know that I want it to have a baby-blue colour scheme, and I need to help Chris make the playlist.
"Otherwise, it’ll be all songs I don’t know! He likes to educate me on music. He loves The 1975 and all these boy bands, but I don’t know any of them as they are British. Give me some NSYNC or Backstreet Boys!"
However, Chris explained that Christmas is too obvious a time to pop the question, and he'd rather do it when JoJo least expects it.

He explained: "Not just yet. You always get people who get engaged at Christmas. I see it on Instagram every year. I like the idea of it not being at a time where it could be expected.”
JoJo added: “Alright, you’re keeping me guessing, aren’t you? When he asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I said ‘a ring.’ And he said ‘really?’. I replied ‘A Ring doorbell!’ [chuckles]. But what if I got HIM a ring?”
But Chris insisted 'she can't' and he 'doesn't agree' with the idea of her switching up gender norms and proposing to him.
“But what if I did? You’d say no?” JoJo questioned, to which he admitted: "I don’t know. I’ve spoken to people about this before you, obviously. And I actually said, ‘I think if I was proposed to, that would make me really uncomfortable'.”
"Listen, I wouldn’t do it unless you waited seven years. And then I’d be like, ‘alright, my a** is getting down on the knee then’. If you waited too long, I’d be like, ‘okay'." JoJo reasoned, to which Chris agreed.
He added: "That’s fair. It shouldn’t take you seven years to work out if you want to marry someone. So you can go off that, and then that won’t ever happen."
