Johnny Depp has opened up about the infamous Amber Heard trial as he called out three people who 'did him dirty'.
In a new interview with The Sunday Times, the 62-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star addressed his separation and divorce from Heard, 39, which saw him win a defamation action against her in 2022 regarding claims that he had physically and sexually assaulted her.

When speaking to the outlet about such three Hollywood peers, the journalist noted that Depp's 'ire for them is bubbling, passionate'.
"As weird as I am, certain things can be trusted," Depp explained. "And my loyalty is the last thing anybody could question. I was with one agent for 30 years, but she spoke in court about how difficult I was."

He continued: "That’s death by confetti, these fake motherf*ckers who lie to you, celebrate you, say all sorts of horror behind your back, yet keep the money – that confetti machine going – because what do they want? Dough."

Depp's former agent, Tracey Jacobs, who worked with Depp from 1988 to 2016, claimed in the Heard trial that some studios had become 'reluctant to use' the A-lister due to his lateness on set - claims which Depp has denied.
Continuing to single out 'three people' in particular, Depp confessed: "I’ll tell you what hurts. There are people, and I’m thinking of three, who did me dirty. Those people were at my kids’ parties. Throwing them in the air."
The Sweeney Todd star did not name such individuals.

Referring to himself as the 'crash test dummy for MeToo', Depp - whose accusations came a year before disgraced Hollywood film producer Harvey Weinstein was arrested and charged with rape in 2018 - went on: "And, look, I understand people who could not stand up [for me], because the most frightening thing to them was making the right choice. I was pre-MeToo. I was like a crash test dummy for MeToo. It was before Harvey Weinstein.
"And I sponged it, took it all in. And so, I wanted from the hundreds of people I’ve met in that industry to see who was playing it safe. Better go woke!"
In the defamation trial, the jury mostly sided with Depp and found that Heard defamed Depp in her op-ed in The Washington Post where she described herself as a victim of domestic abuse but didn't name her ex.
Depp was awarded $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages (later reduced to $350,000 due to state limits).

The jury also sided partly with Heard, finding that Depp’s lawyer defamed Heard in one statement which resulted in her being rewarded $2 million in compensatory damages.
Both actors appealed parts of the verdict but later settled in December 2022 with Heard agreeing to pay $1 million to Depp to end the case, with no further appeals.
