Jennifer Lopez hints at Ben Affleck divorce drama with five-word statement as she breaks social media silence

Jennifer Lopez has broken her social media silence by sharing a series of selfies following her high profile split from husband, Ben Affleck.
News broke on 21 August that J.Lo, 55, had filed for divorce from Ben, 52.
The singer listed the official date of their separation as 26 April 2024.
Despite all of our nostalgic hearts hoping that they'd make it, the split is official.

Documents show that J.Lo filed for divorce on 20 August in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
She cited 'irreconcilable differences' - which 'simply means that people don't get along anymore', according to Slater + Gordon.
USA Today reported that J.Lo made a very specific request in the filing - that she is able to revert back to her maiden name.
If granted, she will again be known as 'Jennifer Lynn Lopez', having switched to 'Affleck' as a result of the marriage.
Neither J.Lo or Ben have commented publicly on the split or the reasons surrounding it, but J.Lo has now posted a series of selfies with a very interesting caption.
In a series of images posted to Instagram yesterday, 1 September, J.Lo wrote: "Oh, it was a summer."
The photos in the carousel include a mirror selfie, a quote that says: "everything is unfolding in divine order." It also features a photo of her in a swimsuit and a t-shirt that reads: "she's in bloom and unbothered, out of reach and at peace."
It seems like a fairly direct nod to her impending divorce and split from Ben, reassuring fans that she's doing just fine.
One fan commented: "Everyone’s stories are already written out for everyone. Just buckle up and enjoy the beautiful/crazy/wild ride that’s in store for you!!!"
The pair, who first met on the set of Gigli in 2001, went public with their romance for the first time in 2002.
The Gone Girl actor even went on to star in the music video for J.Lo's iconic hit 'Jenny from the Block.'
The two seemed to go from strength to strength and were engaged in November of that same year, before splitting in 2004.
At the time, a joint statement blamed 'excessive media attention' as the driving force for their split.
J.Lo went on to marry Marc Anthony, and Ben married Jennifer Garner.
Despite starting families of their own and spending decades apart, the two reconciled in 2021 and became engaged yet again in 2022.
They had their first ceremony in Las Vegas later that year, as well as a more lavish ceremony in Georgia.
J.Lo wrote on her newsletter: "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient."
