Jason Bateman’s daughter has been given the birds and the bees talk – and also the ‘penis screams’ talk, which you might not be familiar with.
There are many ways to talk to your kids about sex to help them understand it in a child-friendly way.
However, the Horrible Bosses actor may have given his daughter arrested development (get it?), after explaining how babies come to be.
The father-of-two shared the moment he told his 14-year-old daughter Maple about the process, with him revealing on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she’s getting to the age where sexual education is currently important.

He said: “I did ask her how that's going [and] does she have any questions or is she all up to date.”

He explained he asked this ‘cause I didn't want to tell her anything that I don't need to, you know.’
The 57-year-old then theorised that his daughter might have pulled his leg to wind him up, telling host Jimmy Kimmel: “Maybe she sensed that this was an uncomfortable area for me. So, I think she played dumb and she's like, ‘Yeah, I'm not positive on a bunch of stuff.’”
He said: “I did find myself getting to the portion of, um, when the release happens, right? Which is a necessary component.”
He continued. “You don't want to be saying the word ‘ejaculate’ to your daughter, right? That's not a great term. There's a lot of description with that that I didn't want to get into.”
So, what did he do instead?
He decided to use the word ‘scream’.
“I said, ‘When the male member is inside of the woman's member, it's so lovely, there is so much love,’” he revealed to Kimmel, saying the conversation was having him ‘starting to sweat’.
The Ozark actor then explained: “To avoid that term, I said, ‘The penis just screams and it's the equivalent of the penis just yelling, “I love you!” And it yells the love into the woman and then you get you, baby.’”
Uh, we might just found out how she felt about that explanation when she’s older, but for now, Bateman gave no indication as to how she reacted.
The star, who shares daughters, Francesca, 19, and Maple, with wife Amanda Anka, could probably just show the girls his catalogue of films and they’d soon get the gist of what not to do.
But to keep things PG, maybe don't show them Jennifer Aniston’s character in Horrible Bosses.
