George and Amal Clooney, who are celebrating their tenth anniversary together today, are a force of nature, but there's one thing the actor can't get behind, and that's her fashion choices on the red carpet.

The A-lister and the human rights barrister tied the knot in 2014 and, have since been giving the world only the best couple's outfit looks in history.

However, the Ocean's 11 star has opened up about being so 'embarrassed' by Amal's red carpet looks, and it's not the reason you think.

The pair made an appearance at The Albies, which was hosted by The Clooney Foundation for Justice, on 26 September to advocate for justice, and George was nothing but flattering to his lovely wife.

He even borrowed a professional camera from a photographer at one point, and snapped photographs of his wife Amal posing with Donatella Versace and Charlotte Tilbury on the carpet.

“I would support anything my wife is involved in,” George told PEOPLE on the red carpet.

“She’s always on the right side of history, and I’m always so proud to be in the same room with her no matter what, and this is an event where we get to focus all the attention on the people who don’t get enough attention.”

George has always spoken highly of his wife, but last year the 63-year-old spoke to Entertainment Tonight during the Los Angeles premiere of his film, The Boys in the Boat, at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater, and spilled the beans on how he really feels.

George said: "She cleans up.

"I'm always embarrassed because I'm wearing something that I've worn, like, 1,000 times."

Whereas his wife is the queen of dazzlingly new outfits.

He joked that he feels 'slighted' by the attention Amal receives, adding: "My entire career has been reduced to a plus-one now."

He went on to reveal: "I did one of those Women in Film things a couple years ago, and I had to introduce myself as 'Amal Clooney's husband' because, honestly, I was dead otherwise."

George and Amal are parents to their seven-year-old twins, Alexander and Ella, who were welcomed back in June of 2017.

The Oscar-award-winning actor also said the twins visited him on the set of the film, telling the outlet: "Yeah, the kids came to visit. They think that all I do is play in the water.

"I did a movie a couple years ago called The Midnight Sky, and I had to shoot stuff in a tank and they came to visit and I'm in clothes, but I'm in a tank. So whenever I go to work, they think I'm swimming."

Adorable.

Previously speaking about fatherhood to The Hollywood Reporter, he said becoming a parent was 'wild'.

"You know, everything is conceptual until it’s real," George went on. "It’s like, 'Yeah, we’re going to be parents, yeah.' And all of a sudden, you go: 'Holy s**t. I’m a parent!'"

Talking about his kids, the actor added: "I want them to be happy. I want them to have a sense of humour. I want them to be interested in things.

"I want them to be compassionate about other people’s plights. Because that’s the thing, you know? You have to have some sort of empathy."
