Elliot Page opened up about how he had been having sex with a co-star ‘all the time’.
Page has been very candid about his life since releasing his biographical memoir the other year, and within its pages, it also talked about the moments when the Juno actor was struggling with his sexuality.
The 2007 indie film was something that transformed his life, and it also became a cult classic thanks to its comedy, tough subject matter and the fabulous cast… which included Olivia Thirlby.

The Oppenheimer actress has been doing a lot of great projects since she played the character Leah in Juno, but what you might not know is about her relationship with Page.
According to Page, Thirlby was the ‘first woman I had a suitably consensual sexual relationship with’.
In his book Pageboy, he explained that both of them - aged around 19 or 20 at the time of filming - would engage in sexual acts at any opportunity, which really helped to affirm Page’s attraction to women.

He wrote that it was because of her attitude that she was a great source of comfort to him during this time in his life.
She shared that ‘she seemed so much older, capable and centred. Sexually open, far removed from where I was at the time.’
While Thirlby didn't publicly come out as bisexual until years later, she has always been quite open about her sexuality, according to Page and told him straight up that she was attracted to him.
After that, the pair got busy.

Page explained that they began to get down and dirty in numerous places, and even at work.
“We started sucking face,” wrote Page. “It was on…. We started having sex all the time: her hotel room, in our trailers at work, once in a tiny, private room in a restaurant. What were we thinking?
"We thought we were subtle…. Being intimate with Olivia helped my shame dissipate. I didn't see a glint of it in her eyes and I wanted that - done feeling wretched about who I am.”
His relationship with Thirlby isn’t the only one he exposed in his memoir, as he went on to talk about being in love with Kate Mara.

Along with his struggles with mental health and his gender transition, the actor explored his relationships, loves and losses, as well as sharing major steps of his journey on social media after coming out as transgender in December 2020.
In his memoir, he talked about a 'secret relationship' with fellow A-lister Mara, who is best known for her role in American Horror Story.

The relationship occurred in 2014, when Page was filming the 2014 superhero movie X-Men: Days of Future Past.

"The first person I fell for after my heart was broken was Kate Mara," Page writes. "She had a boyfriend at the time, the lovely and talented Max Minghella."
The Hard Candy star claims that Mara said to him: "I never thought I could be in love with two people and now I know I can."
Mara and Minghella broke up in 2014.
"This was right after I’d come out as gay and it was a time of exploration and also heartbreak," Page wrote.
"I think my relationship, or whatever you want to call it with Kate, very much encapsulates a certain dynamic that I consistently found myself in, which was falling for people that — I think a lot of us do this — who aren't fully available.
"And the sort of safety in that and the highs and the lows and the serotonin bump, and then it goes away."
