Cynthia Erivo is one of the biggest names in Hollywood at the moment.
As if starring in the hit Wicked franchise wasn't enough, the 38-year-old British actress and powerhouse singer has a whole bunch of accolades under her belt, including being one of the few individuals nominated for an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony Award, winning all but the Oscar.
However, despite her booming fanbase and multiple box-office smash-hits, it's clear not everyone actually knows Cynthia's full name, with many only just discovering how to pronounce her seven names.
In a June interview with radio personality Zach Sang, the Harriet star was asked to pronounce her full name. Not realising that he meant her seven names, Cynthia aptly replied 'Cynthia Erivo' and added: "You have no idea how many times people mispronounce the Erivo in my name."

The interviewer then pushed further, prompting the Hollywood A-lister to respond with her full name.
Cynthia said: "It's Cynthia Chinasaokwu Onyedinmanasu Amarachukwu Owezuke Echimino Erivo, but there's a confirmation name, Perpetua, in there as well."
She then explained that all her names are related to her Nigerian heritage, adding: "They're all Igbo-Nigerian names and I really only know the translation for two of them because my memory is the worst."

Cynthia added: "My mother gave me Chinasaokwu, which is 'God is always watching'. Onyedinmanasu is hard to translate, but is 'If you look forward, it doesn't matter what people are saying behind you'."
She ended by saying: "What is in front of you is for you."

After catching light of the news, one Instagram user rushed in to gush: "Wow!"

"I lowkey LOVE telling people my full name. It always blows their minds when I need to take a deep breath before I stare," penned a second.
A third chimed in: "It’s a beautiful name."
Another echoed: "It's so long but beautiful."
And a final fan added: "She has the name of a princess."

In the same interview, Cynthia also shared that she named her production company, which she launched back in 2020, Edith's Daughter, after her mother, Edith.
Speaking about what she hopes to achieve with the company, the actress explained: "I rarely see a face like mine in the lead. The more I get this company going, the less I want to be in these things. I want it to be a place where new talent can really thrive."
