Celebrity Big Brother's David Potts has 'secret' twin brother who people ask to prove is his real sibling

Ever since the launch episode hit our screens, this year’s Celebrity Big Brother has been a total smash-hit with viewers.
It just scratches our reality TV itch.
Fulled by all of the piping hot tea being spilled by Sharon Osborne and Louis Walsh, viewers have been tuning in every night to watch the latest drama unfold.
When it hasn’t revolved around the former X Factor judges and their thoughts on fellow A-listers, there has been more drama to take in.

Star of Ibiza Weekender, David Potts, and the mastermind behind Reggae Reggae Sauce, Levi Roots, had failed to gel. After Roots nominated Potts, he broke down in tears, explaining he felt the TV star hadn’t 'let him in'.
Potts also garnered a lot of attention when he abandoned his signature look of short shorts for full length trousers.
One online commenter wrote on X: “I didn’t recognise David since they’ve got him wearing trousers.”
It seems that Potts’ ability to surprise isn’t just confined to the Big Brother house, either.
As it turns out, David has a ‘secret’ twin brother - and the duo couldn’t be any more different.
His twin brother Matthew has opened up about his sibling in an interview with MailOnline.
Matthew - who works as a physiotherapist for Huddersfield Town FC - said people often don’t believe they’re related.
He said: “I don't go around shouting about it but when people do find out they are quite shocked and I always have to provide evidence we're related because they don't believe me, which is quite funny.”
Matthew further explained that while they were dressed the same when they were younger, they ended up taking very different paths.
“The reality is – and as we have proven – we're just totally completely different people," he said.
Despite their stark differences, Matthew was keen to show his love and support for his twin.
He said: “He's loud when you first lay eyes on him and the celebrities in the house were quite taken aback by him at first but now, they are getting to know him, well within five minutes your perceptions of him change completely.”
A rare photo of the duo posted on David’s social media shows that they present as chalk and cheese.
David opts for a dark tan and ultra white teeth, while Matthew has a much more laid back, natural look.
Differences aside, Matthew is rooting for his twin and that’s all that really matters.
