Big Brother star Pauline Adeyemo has left viewers stunned after a surprising detail about her past career came to light.
The 31-year-old is currently appearing on the latest series of Big Brother, which returned to ITV2 and ITVX last month (13 September), with hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best back at the helm.
The 2026 series is the longest yet since the show’s ITV reboot, with the eight-week run expected to conclude in early November.
And while Pauline has already made headlines inside the famous house, fans have now discovered she has another impressive career tucked away in her past.

Pauline, who has been caring for her mum for three years, previously played football for West Ham.
She spent time in the women’s academy and appeared as a substitute during pre-season matches for West Ham United Ladies around August 2016, although she didn't go on to make the senior team.
The revelation has come as a surprise to viewers, particularly because Pauline has spoken openly in the house about another unusual chapter of her working life.

The reality TV star previously revealed she worked for a private detective firm in her early twenties, around eight years ago.
However, her football background appears to have been much less well-known.
Fans were quick to react after the discovery, with one writing on X: "No way!"
Another viewer joked: "Our organic footballer queen yes."
And a third chimed in: "The people's princess."

Pauline’s varied past has also become a talking point among her fellow housemates, with Phillip and Lynx previously questioning whether she was telling the truth about her private investigator job.
Phillip said to his co-star: "Why would you come in and say you are a private investigator when people outside are gonna know you’re not?
"I think she lives in a fantasy world.
"I don’t believe she was a private investigator. It is the lies."
Away from the drama surrounding her career history, Pauline has already found herself at the centre of plenty of explosive moments in the Big Brother house.
The current series has seen housemates face secret missions, dramatic twists and tense nominations, with Pauline becoming one of the more talked-about contestants.
And with several weeks still to go before the expected November finale, it looks like viewers could be discovering a whole lot more about Pauline before she leaves the house.
Big Brother continues tonight at 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX
