Earlier this year, it was reported that Cat did not attend the funeral of Patrick's mother, Mary.
At the time, Cat stayed at home, with reports she decided not to travel to Ireland in order to be there for their two children.
A spokesperson for Cat told Daily Mail at the time: "Cat remained at home to be there for her two young children before and after school on this very sad day."
Patrick's mother was in her 80s when she passed away in the village of Dundrum.
