Caitlyn Jenner once opened up about the emotional reason she still gets called 'dad' by her daughters.
The 75-year-old reality TV star married 'momager' Kris in 1991, becoming step-parent to Kourtney, Kim, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian.
Together, they had two daughters: Kendall Jenner, who was born in 1995 as well as Kylie, who was born two years later in 1997.
Now, the couple separated in 2013 and finalised their divorce in March 2015. The following month, Caitlyn publicly came out as a transgender woman in an interview with Diane Sawyer and later introduced herself as Caitlyn Jenner on the cover of Vanity Fair in June 2015.

Back in 2019, Caitlyn appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! and revealed that her children still call her 'dad', even after her transition.

She discussed being a parent when fellow campmate Kate Garraway candidly asked her what her children called her.
"My kids all call me dad, Kendall asked me first and I said 'dad', I'm your dad and I’ll always be your dad till the day I die," she replied.

Asked if she felt like a father to her children, Caitlyn then explained: "But what they’re really good at which shocks me all the time is when they’re talking about me, 'My dad she…' and it’s tough to change the pronoun in the middle of it.
"Bruce raised them and Caitlyn is enjoying their life with them."

A few years back, in 2021, Caitlyn and her youngest child, Kylie, sat down for a YouTube video where they discussed makeup and pronouns together.

"So, I wanted to ask you," Kylie said. "I know, like, sometimes people get really confused when Kendall and I still call you 'dad.' I know we had a talk a few years ago, and you were OK with us still calling you 'dad.' How do you feel about that now?"
"I feel it was one of the best decisions I made, and sometimes this community can be pretty tough, especially when it comes to pronouns," Caitlyn replied. "Everybody's got an opinion and on and on and on."
"But I really felt from the beginning that I gotta do it, kind of, my way that works for me," she continued. "And I think everybody out there has got to do it their way, which works for them."
