The Beckham feud escalated to new heights following Brooklyn Beckham's scathing social media post about his family on Monday (19 January).
David and Victoria's eldest son took to his Instagram to drop a bombshell statement regarding his relationship with his parents.
In his message, Brooklyn made several accusations against his celebrity parents, alleging that they 'controlled' the press coverage surrounding their family 'his entire life' and 'trying endlessly to ruin' his relationship with his wife, Nicola Peltz.
He went on to claim that he didn't wish to 'reconcile' with his family, adding: "I'm not being controlled, I'm standing up for myself for the first time in my life."

Sky News asked David for his thoughts on his son's statement, which ex-England star didn't answer directly, though when talking about young people and social media, he said that he has tried to 'educate' his children, adding: "Children are allowed to make mistakes, that's how they learn... but you know you have to sometimes let them make those mistakes as well."
Since Brooklyn's shock statement, his relationship history has been brought to the surface, with many focusing on what was said about his parents, especially his mum.
What has Brooklyn said about Victoria?
Brooklyn made a few accusations towards his mother, including that she'd 'hijacked' his first dance with Peltz at his wedding in 2022.
He claimed: "My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests.
"Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule [it] was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead."
Brooklyn continued: "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.”
He also accused her of pulling out of designing Peltz's wedding dress at the last minute, leaving her to find a replacement.
What have Brooklyn's exes said about Victoria?
Chloë Grace Moretz
Chloë Grace Moretz previously dated Brooklyn in 2014, when she was 17 and he was 15, and the relationship ended in 2018.
At the time, the Kick-Ass star had spoken out about her experience with the former Spice Girl with Andy Cohen in 2015, saying: “She's an amazing person. I really admire her work ethic and I love her line."
As for the Beckham family, she continued: "I think that as a family, they're awesome people. [The Beckhams] understand the travel, the sex scenes with random people, the crazy schedules.”
She went on to say in a later appearance that David was ‘a great dad, [Victoria’s] a great mother. They genuinely are very good parents. That’s what matters most'.
In light of Brooklyn’s statement, fans online also found a post where Victoria supposedly made fun of Brooklyn's hair, comparing him to Dennis the Menace and asking Chloë 'what she'd done' to him.
However, it wasn’t all sunshine and flowers, as Chloë would say in 2016, that dating a Beckham could be difficult, as she told British InStyle: “It creates a mass frenzy, and they follow you in separate cars so you can’t just run around and share little silly and cute moments.”
Tallia Storm
The 27-year-old Scottish singer allegedly dated Brooklyn for 18 months in 2014, when they were teenagers, after meeting through mutual friends.
Taking to Instagram on 21 January, it seems Tallia is on Brooklyn's side in the drama, as she reposted a clip that appears to joke about the allegedly ruined dance at Brooklyn’s wedding, which said: "The first dance in question."
She also wrote in the clip's caption: "Team Brooklyn.”
In an interview with The Mirror, Storm was asked about the wedding dance claims, to which she responded: "I know nothing about any of that. All I recall is Victoria always being very chatty and bubbly - she would always bring big energy."
She also reiterated her support for Brooklyn, telling the outlet that she thinks 'he’s just had enough'.
