Blake Lively claims Justin Baldoni planned to use Taylor Swift against her in lawsuit against actor

It Ends With Us lead Blake Lively has alleged that co-star Justin Baldoni and his team hoped to exploit her relationship with Taylor Swift

Taylor Swift's name has been mentioned in the legal battle between It Ends With Us co-stars Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Amongst the plethora of allegations Lively has made about Baldoni in a newly-filed lawsuit is one which claims the actor intended to incorporate the 'Love Story' singer into a 'smear campaign' against her.

According to official court filings, a 'scenario planning document' was sent from a crisis management team to Baldoni.

This document - allegedly issues by crisis management expert Melissa Nathan to 'advance misleading counter-narratives' - laid out three likely scenarios that Lively, 37, would likely utilise, as well as responses that 40-year-old Baldoni would issue if she chose to 'make her grievances public'.

The lawsuit alleged Baldoni planned to exploit the friendship Lively has formed with US pop singer Taylor Swift.

The documents state that one of the options listed as available to his team in the 'scenario planning' file would be to 'explore planting stories about the weaponisation of feminism and how people in BL [Lively]'s circle, like Taylor Swift, have been accused of utilising these tactics to "bully" into getting what they want'.

Lively and Swift have been firm friends for almost a decade. The musician, 35, is yet to address her involvement in the lawsuit.

Rumours of a rift between Lively - who plays lead character Lily Bloom in It Ends With Us - and her on-screen love interest Baldoni first hit headlines during the film's press tour.

The cast-mates were rarely paired together for interviews, and appearing to actively avoid one another on red carpets.

It was also around this time that Lively was branded 'tone deaf' for focussing heavily on her character's aesthetic in conversation with press, as opposed to the real subject of the film - domestic abuse.

The newly-released lawsuit now claims, however, that the actress suffers 'grief, fear, trauma, and extreme anxiety' as a result from the treatment she received at her co-star's hands, which allegedly included 'sexual harassment'.

Amongst the plethora of other claims made, were that Baldoni showed Lively nude videos and images of women, and his actions 'nearly derailed production' of the film.

It was also alleged that Baldoni would engage in conversation with Lively about her previous real-life experiences with sex.

Lively also claims that Baldoni made several references to his alleged addiction to porn.

One of the demands in the meeting stated that there should be 'no more inquiries by [Baldoni] to [Lively's] trainer without her knowledge or consent to disclose her weight'.

As well as: "No more adding of sex scenes, oral sex or on camera climaxing by BL outside the scope of the script BL approved when signing onto the project."

Baldoni's representatives have since vehemently denied all of the accusations being made against him, according to a statement given to Variety.

His lawyer Bryan Freedman said the legal complaint was 'yet another desperate attempt to 'fix' her negative reputation which was garnered from her own remarks and actions during the campaign for the film; interviews and press activities that were observed publicly, in real time and unedited, which allowed for the internet to generate their own views and opinions'.
