Earlier this week, Beyoncé launched one of the most anticipated tours of the summer, with her two daughters joining her on stage.
The Cowboy Carter tour started in Inglewood, California on 28 April to the delight of fans. The mum-of-three sang her latest country songs from her Grammy-winning album Cowboy Carter as well as classic hits from her catalogue.
Beyoncé’s daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, seven, had their own viral moments by joining their legendary mum on stage. Blue Ivy previously had her stage debut during the Renaissance Tour in 2023 meanwhile Rumi was overjoyed to have her first stage appearance on Monday alongside her big sister and mum.

The trio had a beautiful moment while Beyoncé sang ‘Protector’, however fans noticed that Sir, Rumi’s twin brother, was absent.

Although Beyoncé initially kept both twins out of the public eye, and now that Rumi is part of the Cowboy Carter tour, it appears Sir is happy remaining behind the scenes for now.
Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles and her father Matthew Knowles have shared tidbits over the years about how Rumi and Sir have different personalities.

In 2019, Tina shared: “The girl [Rumi] is really just going to rule the world, and the boy [Sir] is kind of laid back and chills like the dad.”
She also shared that '[Blue Ivy] is Queen B. The second Queen B', the Mirror reports.
And in an interview with E! News, Tina said: “Sir is very quiet. He does all of the numbers stuff, so he’s not into fashion as much.”
Meanwhile, Matthew discussed Blue Ivy’s personality, stating that his granddaughter, 'is just so incredible and reminds me of Beyoncé so much'.

In the same interview with US Weekly, he added: “Sir, he just wants his world to himself. [His twin sister], Rumi, reminds me of [my daughter] Solange [Knowles].”
Beyoncé first teased the tour during a Netflix special showcasing the Cowboy Carter album. The halftime performance during the Christmas Day NFL game, titled Beyoncé Bowl is available on Netflix and the performance included the chart-topping hit ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’.
Blue Ivy danced alongside her mum during the show, which was streamed live on the platform on Christmas Day and later released as a standalone special.

She officially announced the tour the night before this year's Grammy Awards, which saw the ‘Bodyguard’ singer take home the gong for best country album as well as the ceremony's most coveted prize - album of the year - for the eighth studio album.
The monumental win made her the first Black woman to take home the award for best country album.
