There's a new twist in the tale of Ben Affleck's divorce from Jennifer Lopez, and we have to say we did not see it coming.
Affleck and Lopez, who were first engaged in the noughties and earned the moniker 'Bennifer', went on to split and marry other people before reconciling two decades later and tying the knot.
The duo were wed in 2022 but dramatically divorced just two years later, with the date of their separation being listed as 6 April 2024.
Prior to rekindling the flame with J Lo, Affleck was married to actress Jennifer Garner between 2005 and 2018.

According to a report from Page Six, Garner would 'love' her ex-husband to spend Christmas with her this year.
A source told the outlet: "Jen and Ben typically split their time with the kids over the holidays but Jen offered to spend Christmas all together with Ben if he would like.
“Christmas is one of Jen’s favourite holidays and she would love for the family to be together as often as possible for these occasions."
Garner and Affleck share three children together, Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
The ex spouses spent the Thanksgiving holiday together, feeding the homeless community in partnership with the Midnight Mission group, before enjoying their own dinner at Garner's home.
The source continued: "Jen and Ben have a really friendly coparenting relationship and she knows the kids had a wonderful time being together with both parents on Thanksgiving.”
Affleck's most recent ex, J Lo, opened up about her own plans for Christmas.
In an interview with People, she shared: "It was a pretty intense year for me and I'm most looking forward to spending time with my kids and my family coming out from the East Coast.
"The holidays are such a special time for us and they've always been since I was a little girl. And I really look forward to those moments when I can be with my sisters and just relax and have fun and create new memories."
She then added: "So we kind of catch up on what everybody’s doing and how life is. It’s just a beautiful time. I really enjoy it.
"I love all of the decorations and the hot chocolate and the music and the food, and I'm one of those people who really tries to make it out of a storybook for my kids with all of those things. I'm a sucker for the holidays."
