Paul Hollywood and new wife Melissa pictured together for first time since their wedding

The Great British Bake Off judge and Melissa Spalding were seen in a cute picture together.

Paul Hollywood and his new wife Melissa Spalding have been pictured together for the first time since their wedding in the most unexpected place.

The newlywed couple were seen making themselves at home on a very famous couch you’ve definitely seen on the telly over the years.

The Great British Bake Off judge, 57, and the pub landlady 39, were pictured smiling on the Dingles’ leather sofa on the set of Emmerdale on Monday.

They stopped by the iconic West Yorkshire farm just two weeks after their luxury wedding in Cyprus.

What a unique honeymoon!

The couple snuggled up next to Samson (Sam Hall), Sam (James Hooton), Mandy (Lisa Riley) Lydia (Karen Blick).

The Hollywoods looked right at home on the set, and if you’re a fan wanting to know if the savage celebrity chef is set to dish out one of his iconic handshakes to one of the Dingles, you’ll have to wait and see. It’s currently unclear as to why Paul is on the set, but we’re not complaining.

Another picture posted on Emmerdale’s X account - the app formerly known as Twitter - sees Paul posing behind the village’s instantly recognisable ‘Emmerdale’ street sign.

The pictures from the set made devoted fans of the ITV soap question whether Paul could be playing a new resident.

“So that is who is in the chair tonight,” one viewer commented.

“Bet Marlon was sh*tting his pans haha,” another commenter wrote under the sofa picture shared by Lisa Riley.

“Hope he brought you all a cake at least?!?” a concerned Instagram user quizzed.

It should come as no surprise that cake was on a lot of people’s minds, as another fan asked: “Did he bring cakes?”

We may never know although what we do know, thanks to ITV, is that Paul simply spent the day exploring the TV village and is not set to become a character on the show.

Paul married his second wife just over two weeks ago at the beautiful Ayia Athanasia chapel, which is part of the Anassa Hotel in front of around 75 of his family and friends, including fellow Bake Off judge, Prue Leith.

Paul and Melissa have been in a relationship for three years overall, and he quietly proposed in 2022.

He was previously married to Alexandra Hollywood, with whom he shares a 21-year-old son named Josh.
