Alabama Barker addresses 'taking Ozempic' as she slams 'disgusting' body-shamers

Alabama Barker is not holding back anymore following horrifying comments from body-shamers about her figure.

The 22-year-old is the daughter of Blink-182 star Travis Barker, and she posted angrily on TikTok saying she was going to take extreme measures to stop people from criticising her body.

An influencer and musician, Alabama has long been in the public eye thanks to her famous father, and that doesn't come without hate comments.

She acknowledged that her plan is a bad idea, confessing: "This is not very role model of me, but I’m gonna get on the highest dose of Ozempic."

Ozempic is a brand of GLP-1 medication which was originally created as a treatment for Type 2 diabetes, but along with the likes of Mounjaro and Wegovy is widely used for weight loss.

Users are supposed to start on a very low dose of 0.25mg, before gradually working their way up to the highest amount of 2mg a week.

It is not advised to start on the highest amount straight away.

Her rant continued: “I’m going to become so skinny, you’re gonna tell me I need a burger, because the way that people body shame me is f****** disgusting."

She added furiously: "I f****** hate you guys, and I’m gonna get so skinny. F*** you," before saying she would be greatly reducing her curves for 2027.

It's not the first time she's hit out about criticism of her body, according to PEOPLE, she defended her looks previously, saying: “I’m natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I’m naturally beautiful."

Back in 2023,

she came out and said she had an autoimmune disease and a thyroid problem, which can cause her weight to fluctuate.

Alabama also stressed she didn't want young girls who watch her to 'think there’s something wrong with' gaining weight.

She added: “I would love to see you guys getting random pictures of you taken of you when you’re leaving the grocery store, in the middle of a sentence, with your mouth wide open… and let’s see how beautiful you look.”

“So, it would be very appreciated if you guys just keep your opinions to yourself,” she said. “It’ll get you further in life.

"I have this thing where I photograph so ugly and people are like, 'Oh my god, you're so fat and you're so ugly,'" and said she was tired of 'photographing like a damn ogre.'

Her mum, Shanna Moakler, has been open about her use of Mounjaro recently following the loss of both of her parents and to deal with her emotional eating.
