Adam Sandler has been defended by fans for being called out for turning up to his wife Jackie Sandler's film premiere donning a very casual outfit.
Earlier this week, on Tuesday (26 May), the couple, who tied the knot back in 2003, rocked up to the premiere of the new Netflix rom-com, Office Romance, in which Jackie stars alongside Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.
Jackie, 51, stunned in an all-black ensemble featuring a black sleeveless mini dress with black tights, black stiletto heels and a black clutch to pair, while Sandler, 59, opted for an oversized orange Knicks hoodie, blue baggy tracksuit bottoms and a pair of trainers.
After catching light of the snaps, fans and critics alike rushed to social media to share their verdict on his get-up.

"Idk he could’ve still put a suit on for the event, he doing a lil too much with this chill fit sh*t," slammed a second as a third chimed in: "I think it’s time to put a suit on, Adam."
And a fourth seethed: "Sh*t is so embarrassing. You’re not edgy. This is a grown-a** man."
Others, however, rushed in to defend the beloved actor with one declaring: "Would you expect anything different?"
"He’s a real one. Not weird sh*t after getting famous," defended a second.
Others praised Sandler were being 'real' and 'humble' (Axelle/Bauer-Griffin / Contributor / Getty Images) A third urged: "Never change, Sandler.. never change."
"Good for him. I love seeing the people in the comment section p*ssed off over this," praised a fourth as a fifth gushed: "Just because you have money doesn't mean you have to dress like the money you have. He's a humble dude too, I can tell."
Another penned: "Love that he shows up as is without all the fancy stuff."
And a final X user added: "I wish one day I could not give a sh*t like him. Legend!"
While it's clear not everyone is a fan of how he dresses, Sandler has, in a way, created a whole new fashion genre due to his über effortless style.
Staple pieces of 'The Adam Sandler Style', which has been affectionately dubbed 'Sandlercore', includes baggy basketball shorts, graphic tees or polos, floral Hawaiian shirts, comfy outerwear like a fleece zip-up hoodie, a puffy vest, or a college sweatshirt and very quirky footwear like high-top basketball sneakers paired with pulled-up white tube socks.
