If coronavirus has thrown your wedding plans off kilter and you're on the hunt for a new venue, we might have just the thing for you.

You've seen Netflix' new horror series The Haunting of Bly Manor, right? Well it turns out you can actually get married in Bly Manor. OK well not the actual Bly Manor as that doesn't exist, but the next best thing.

Thornewood Castle is in Lakewood, Washington (

While the show is set in England, it was actually mostly filmed in studios in Vancouver, however the exterior shots of the manor were filmed at Thornewood Castle in Lakewood, Washington. The Castle was also used as a set for the Stephen King horror miniseries Rose Red, so it has some seriously spooky stories behind it.

The English Tudor-style property is now a hotel, which is a popular venue for weddings and events. The hotel has a little balcony on the side, which looks very similar to where Dani spots the ghost of Peter Quint for the first time too.

The Thornewood Castle website says: "Weddings at the Castle are breathtaking. With both outdoor venue options, stunning scenery, architecture and statuary for photos, and on-site staff to assist you, we love helping couples create their dream wedding."

According to the Wedding Spot website, rental fees range from £2,270 to £6,510 for a ceremony and reception, which includes six hours of event time including set up and clean up time.

We'd get married there just for the pictures!

Unfortunately none of The Haunting of Bly Manor's inside scenes were filmed at the castle, the house does have a fake listing on Zillow, where it's described as: "a perfectly splendid 17th-century home in the English Countryside. The Manor is currently inhabited by the remaining members of the Wingrave family and their staff, who welcome guests of all ages and backgrounds to stay as long as they'd like."
