Netflix has just released a first look at Harlan Coben's latest series, The Woods which arrives on the streaming platform in a matter of weeks.
Earlier this month, the author - who is also the mastermind behind The Stranger and Safe - revealed his latest adaptation would be dropping on the streamer very soon - and now, we've finally been given a glimpse of the highly-anticipated series.

Taking to Twitter to make the announcement, the author wrote: "Thrilled to announce this: THE WOODS. Netflix. Worldwide. June 12. Put it your watchlist now."
The Woods will be based on the book by the same name - and it sounds pretty spooky. The book focuses on a group of four teenagers who disappear in the woods while at summer camp.
Twenty years on from the mysterious event, Paul Copeland - a prosecutor who is the brother of one of the missing children - is linked to a homicide victim whose body has been found.

It raises a whole host of questions. Is the body one of the campers? Is Paul's sister alive? It sounds so gripping.
Although following the same plot, the TV adaptation is slightly different and is set in Poland.
Now, Netflix has launched the trailer for the show, which details the aftermath of the disappearance, the investigation that followed and exactly what happens when detectives revisit the case 20 years on.

Speaking about the show, Harlan said: "I'm so proud to be teaming up with this incredible cast and crew from Poland - and helping introduce their brilliant work to Netflix's global audience."
The six-part series will arrive on Netflix on 12th June, joining Harlan's other two adaptations already on the streaming platform - The Stranger and Safe.
We officially have 12th June marked in our calendars...
