Netflix's latest series, The Woods, dropped on the streaming platform last week - and it's definitely got people talking on Twitter.

Viewers have been binge watching the show since it arrived last Friday, but considering it's from the author of The Stranger, Harlan Coben - we're not surprised!

The Woods is based on the book by the same name, focusing on a group of four teenagers who disappear in the woods while at summer camp.

Twenty years on from the mysterious event, Paul Copeland - a prosecutor who is the brother of one of the missing children - is linked to a homicide victim whose body has been found.

It raises a whole host of questions. Is the body one of the campers? Is Paul's sister alive? Although following the same plot, the TV adaptation is slightly different and is set in Poland.

Grzegorz Damięcki, Agnieszka Grochowska, Wiktoria Filus and Hubert Miłkowski make up The Woods' main cast, while the drama also stars Jacek Koman, Ewa Skibińska, Arkadiusz Jakubik, Magdalena Czerwińska, Adam Ferency, Przemysław Bluszcz, Dorota Kolak, Izabela Dąbrowska, as well as Piotr Głowacki, Cezary Pazura and Arkadiusz Jakubik.

The six-parter joins Harlan's other two adaptations already on the streaming platform - The Stranger and Safe - which FYI are a must-watch if you're yet to see.

Viewers have been "hooked" to the series so far, with many admitting to binge watching all six eps in one go, thanks to its spooky and gripping plot.

One wrote: "Stayed up until 2 a.m. watching @HarlanCoben's The Woods on Netflix, and it's worth every minute.

"Once you start watching, you'll be hooked and will have to binge watch every episode."

While another said: "I just finished watching The Woods on Netflix. It was fantastic! If you watched The Stranger, you should watch The woods."

"So just binge watched 'The Woods' on Netflix, really really good series, that plot twist, ohhhhh my," tweeted one viewer, while others said it was "a 10/10".

You can catch all episodes of The Woods on Netflix now - just be sure to set aside six hours before you tune in!
