The Inbetweeners are reuniting for a two-hour long special on New Year's Day, and we can't think of a better hangover cure.

Will (Simon Bird), Simon (Joe Thomas), Neil (Blake Harrison) and Jay (James Buckley) will reunite on the small screen for the first time since The Camping Trip finale in 2010, as they celebrate 10 years since the sitcom first aired on TV.

The two-hour special is scheduled to air on Channel 4 at 9pm and it's sure to bring us all kinds of nostalgia as the cast show off never-told-before stories and show behind-the-scenes footage from the iconic coming-of-age series.

It will celebrate the best moments from the three seasons of the TV series and the two movie spin-offs and will rank the funniest moments including Best Sex Scene and Best Ever Moment.

Emily Atack, who came runner up in this year's I'm A Celebrity, will also appear in the reunion show to remember her character Charlotte Hinchcliffe, the most popular girl in school and Will's ultimate love interest.

What we really want to know is how many imaginary girls Jay has slept with in the last 10 years and did Simon's mum actually get married to Mr Gilbert (Greg Davies)?

Speaking of the reunion, co-executive producer, Will Macdonald, said: "The love for The Inbetweeners is huge, the kind of love that Jay would boast he's had many times - big celebrities, millions of viewers and loving fans from across the globe.

"And it's so exciting the boys will be back together to feel that love from all those people and enjoy it first-hand. What could possibly go wrong?"

The Inbetweeners will air on Channel 4 at 9pm on New Year's Day.
