Who can forget Supernanny? Viewers watched in awe as stubborn toddlers were reformed from tantrum-prone spawns of Satan to angelic infants who always use their pleases and thank yous.

Brits last enjoyed Jo Frost's miracle-working tactics way back in 2008 when the final UK series aired, but the US adaptation continued long after until 2011 with the parenting expert saving Stateside parents from the edge of breakdowns.

Now, nine years after she was last on our screens, Supernanny is back for a rebooted US series - and the best part is we can watch it, too!

The show is returning to E4 from 20th July at 9pm with brand new episodes fresh from across the pond - hurrah!

"From stubborn toddler tantrums and tweens who just won't listen, to parents on the edge of a complete meltdown - it's safe to say that things on E4 are about to seriously get a whole lot more explosive," said Channel 4, announcing the news.

"Following pleading messages from parents across the pond, this must-see iconic reality series sees Jo Frost - Supernanny come to the rescue of these parents who are at the end of their tether, from struggling to control their troublesome kids to their relationships being put to the test."

In the show, Jo uses her 30+ years of experience to help parents who are at their wits end.

"From children who act out and won't listen, to those tweens with too much screen time, fussy fad eaters and teenagers at war with their parents who just can't agree on how to raise their kids.

"With only days to help coach each family, Jo strategically pulls together challenging, yet life-changing plans to bring some normality and harmony back to these households.

"But it's not always smooth sailing with rebellious children and parents involved! But how will they react to Jo's new tasks ahead and will Frost be able to iron out the chaos and win over these families, or will they all rebel and be sent to a time out?"

Supernanny originally aired in the UK from July 2004 to October 2008, and in the US from January 2005 to March 2011.

In March 2019, it was announced Supernanny would be returning for a 20-episode season, which premiered on Lifetime in January.

We wonder if the updated new series will present any new-age parenting issues, such as toddlers who can't be without their iPads or preteens with unhealthy Netflix addictions?

Either way, we're sure Jo has a fair few tricks up her sleeve for any case. And if in doubt, naughty step it is.

Supernanny USA lands on E4 on 20th July at 9pm.
