Pooch lovers, a brand-new show about keeping your dog happy in lockdown is coming to ITV this week.

The four-part series, titled How To Keep Your Dog Happy At Home, was filmed before the COVID-19 restrictions came into play and is narrated by Martin Clunes.

Viewers can catch the first episode on Tuesday 28th April at 8.30pm.

Quarantine has its highs and lows for our furry companions. On the one hand (or should that be paw?) the whole family is home right now, meaning many doggos are the centre of attention.

But on the other, the Government allowance of one walk a day means our canine friends get a lot less opportunity for the usual activities, like playing, sniffing, stretching their legs and interacting with other doggies.

Suddenly, we're all having to "sit" and "stay", and the option of heading out of the city for long ramble or meeting up with fellow dog owners is no longer an option.

Our puppers need social interaction and physical activity for their wellbeing just as much as us, and this series is crammed with tip and tricks to help keep your pooch happy and healthy while you isolate together.

Think clever training techniques and fun at-home workouts for you and your dog that are suitable for all breeds and sizes.
