Netflix has just released first-look pictures of the upcoming romantic thriller, Rebecca.
Sharing five exclusive photos on Saturday, the streamer wrote: "Here's your first look at Armie Hammer, Lily James, and Kristin Scott Thomas in REBECCA, from director Ben Wheatley."
Rebecca is an adaptation of the 1938 novel of the same name by Daphne du Maurier.

Scheduled for global release on Netflix on 21st October 2020, it tells the story of a young woman, Mrs. de Winter (played by Lily James), who marries wealthy widower, Maxim de Winter (Archie Hammer).
However, the young wife soon discovers that the home they live is in haunted by the memory of his late first wife, Rebecca.
Mrs. Danvers (Kristin Scott Thomas), the stately manor's head housekeeper and maid of Rebecca as a child, torments Maxim's new wife following his remarrying, believing she's trying to take the place of her beloved Rebecca.

It all sounds a bit creepy, don't you think?
The novel was originally adapted in 1940 by famed director Alfred Hitchcock, winning the Academy Award for best Picture that year.
In the newly-released photos, we see Lily James and Archie Hammer's characters embracing, with a second showing the Cinderella actress donning a wide-brimmed 1930s-style hat.
