Piers Morgan will go behind bars to meet a man who killed his four-year-old sister to spite his mother when he was just 13 years old.

Psychopath with Piers Morgan will see the Good Morning Britain host come face-to-face with Paris Bennett, now 25, who is serving a 40-year sentence for murdering his sibling.

In 2007, Bennett stabbed his younger Ella sister 17 times with a kitchen knife while she was asleep in her bed in their home in Abilene, Texas. The teen then proceeded to talk to his friend for six minutes before eventually calling the police who raced to the house to arrest him.

Speaking to the killer in the Ferguson Unit at Texas State Prison, Piers asked Bennett what his motives were.

"For many years, there was just this hot, flaming ball of wrath in the pit of my stomach and it was directed at my mother," he said.

"And one of the reasons why I chose to kill my sister and not someone else is because I knew that by doing that I could hurt my mother in the worst possible way.

"Because I had always known, as a child, that the most devastating thing to my mother would be the loss of one of her children, and I found a way to take away both her children in one fell swoop."

Charity Bennett says she forgives her son despite his monstrous crime.

"If Paris had killed me as he originally intended, I'd have only suffered for a brief few moments," Charity tells Piers in the documentary. "But by killing Ella instead, he knew he was sentencing me to a lifetime of suffering."

Despite the heinous nature of his crime, Bennett is up for parole in seven years, a cause of much worry for many. When asked if she worries her son would try and kill her, she said "Yes. I think under the right circumstances he would do it again.

"I'm afraid of Paris still, but it's possible to love him and forgive him and still be afraid of him."

However Bennett was certain he wouldn't kill again, saying: "The only person I'm dangerous to is myself.

"Because the very moment I feel the chains slipping and the bars bending, the very moment I detect that dark part of myself coming back out again, I would remove myself from the equation."

The American is a diagnosed psychopath with an IQ of 141, classifying him as a genius, hence why he is often called the 'evil genius'. You can watch
