New Channel 5 Murder Mystery '15 Days' Has Viewers Hooked

Channel 5's new murder mystery drama series, 15 Days, has already got viewers on the edge of their seats.

Starring Catherine Tyldesley of Coronation Street fame, the 'Whodunit?' series sees a family return to the Welsh farmhouse where they grew up to say goodbye to their late mother. There's also the question of the will and what it holds for each other them following her death.

Catherine is one of those Welsh siblings, Sara, but the series will grip you as one member of the family is shot by an unseen assailant in a string of twists and turns.

Viewers are then left trying to work out who pulled the trigger through the rest of the series.

Channel 5's 15 Days wast touted as one of the dramas the broadcaster would produce with the money saved by axing Big Brother and its spin-off shows (Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother's Bit On The Side).

Also starring are Geraint Morgan as Gareth, David Caves as Michael, Tom Rhys Harries as Rhys, Kezrena James as Joy and Ifan Huw Dafydd as Huw.

This is Catherine's first major TV role since her character Eva Price left the Coronation Street cobbles towards the end of last year.

The first episode of the crime drama aired yesterday (Monday, 13th May) and it's got viewers hooker.

"Really enjoyed it. Very intense and no idea which way it is heading, which is fabulous. Great acting from a powerful cast," commented one person on Twitter said of Channel 5's venture into drama.

While somebody else shared: "#15days a good piece of drama on Channel 5."

Others were also impressed by Catherine's welsh accent, as another fan offered: " @Cath_Tyldesley @channel5_tv loving the new drama. Gritty and dark. Smashing the welsh accent Cath."

"Really enjoying #15days @channel5_tv different to your usual drama but so far so good and I'm sure it will get better!" tweeted a fourth viewer.

The next instalment will air today (Tuesday, 14th May) at 9pm on Channel 5, with the final two episodes hitting the screen on Wednesday and Thursday the same time this week.
